John Cena Wants To Collaborate With Jay-Z, Bringing His Diet To America, When Will He Retire?

Amy Kuperinsky of The Star-Ledger interviewed John Cena after Thursday’s Wrestlemania 29 press conference. Below is an excerpt of the interview:

If you could collaborate with any rappers, who would they be?

Jay-Z. I like a lot of the groups out there right now, but he’s stood the test of time. A gifted artist and a true entrepreneur. I think there’s only one out there.

What on Earth do you eat to look the way you do?

I’m working on something that is going to take my diet and bring it to America as a whole. It’s fairly big. I don’t have the specifics yet.

You’re 35 now, still young. When do you think you will throw in the towel? Do you even think about that?

I’ll be 36 April 23. I do actually, all the time. The more I get into the 30s, the more I convince myself I can’t keep up with everyone here. I’m not there yet. I’m literally as strong as I’ve ever been.

Honestly, I don’t see Cena retiring for at least another 5-10 years, barring any major injuries. The man is a workhorse, and won’t retire until he just can’t keep up anymore.

Interesting, I was watching wwe vintage collection tonight, they showed cena vs triple h from wrestlemania 22 and I said to myself, cena looks to be in better shape now then back then! I’m sure he could easily go another 5-7 years easily if he stays healthy

I just hope he doesn’t beat Ric Flairs world title record before he leaves if he hits 16 or 17 title reins well in the words of J.R. I’ll eat my hat.
