John Layfield says he’s “lucky to be alive” after bad conditions during his mountain climb caused him to get hypoxia and frostbite. Layfield documented his comments on Twitter:

      Embarrassing how? He’s still pushing through with the challenge, it shows good character to admit there have been setbacks rather than just waving the whole thing off as having gone b without incident. No one who manages to do even a fraction of what he is trying to do can ever feel embarrassed by encountering obstacles like that.

    I know he’s a patriot, investing genius, and doing this for charity, but he’s also an arrogant backstage bully. I’m trying to have some sympathy for him, but I just can’t find any.
