John Morrison Reveals Why He Left WWE; Raw Live Event In Jacksonville In August

- Wrestling News World reader Kris Hardy sent in the following:

John Morrison was on “The Art of Wrestling” podcast with Colt Cabana and explained why he left WWE. Here is a clip of it on YouTube:

To sum it up, John left on good terms. He believed that what was holding him back was giving a good promo. He left to work on promos and to build himself up. John has been busy doing improve classes, improve shows, acting classes, etc. He is still training on his technique instead of taking bumps, which makes him feel a lot better. He also talks about how the Falls Count Anywhere match with The Miz hurt him a lot more than usual and received neck surgery in the past year or so.

Good. His promo work can definitely use some improvement.

  • Van

I can't wait for him to come back

I like Morrison and think he has a lot of potential, but I agree with that his promo’s needed work. I think that was the only thing holding him back really. Hopefully we’ll get to see him back soon.

I like Morrison and think he has a lot of potential, but I agree with that his promo’s needed work. I think that was literally the only thing holding him back really. Hopefully we’ll get to see him back soon.

I'm glad you posted this Richard. I know there is a little beef between you and Colt but I'm happy you'll shine a little of Colt's stuff especially with this awesome podcast for the readers of the site who might find it interesting. :)

He has a Beef with Colt? Why? He always seemed like a pretty decent Guy…

      There’s beef? Honestly never noticed

  • GODSENT83

Promos the only thing? Guess the backstage attitude had nothing to do with lack of push huh

It’s good to hear that he left on good terms, and it was just to make himself get better. It leaves good opportunity to return when he feels he’s ready, and I’d welcome his return.

I would love to see JoMo back in WWE

Smart move by Morrison – really miss him and would love to see him return in the near future.

If he brought Melina with him and had her as his "manager" would be good to see again
