Kaitlyn Arrested At WWE Smackdown Tapings

Kaitlyn was arrested at Tuesday’s WWE television tapings in Grand Rapids, Michigan for not paying a past traffic violation. The Kent County Sheriff’s Department took her into custody when she arrived at the Van Andel Arena. She was released on $315 bond.

Kaitlyn released the following statement to TMZ:

“During a previous visit to Michigan, I was cited for a traffic violation. I am fully cooperating with authorities to resolve the matter.”

I read this and thought "wow did she kill anyone". A 300 dollar traffic violation, lol. What a waste of Michigan taxpayer dollars to arrest her and go through that process. To save that, the cops should have asked her right then and there to pay it on the spot, save time and money.

  Of Course the logical question here would be,why didn't she just pay the fine to begin with? Forgive me for my neutrality. Michigan tax dollars are much better spent on pretend arrest of WWE Superstars LOL!

    IM guessing being on the road 300 days a year has something to do with forgetting about a $300 ticket.

  You can't just give them the money and have it all taken care of; it doesn't work like that.
  
  Also, $300 fine would easy outweigh the $10 it might cost for gas (I don't know how far the police station or intake facility [depending on where she was booked]) to convey her from the arena.

Surely if she was fully cooperating with the authrities to resolve the matter she'd have paid her fine at the time and this would never have happened? So, not really fully cooperating. More like hoping to get out of it somehow and cooperating now cos she got caught.

Ya good luck paying the fine at the time. Obviously you have never had a ticket. You get the fine after the originial citation is mailed in. Which could be over a month after you send it in.

Not like they travel all over every week. Im sure she was really thinking that she wouldve been arrested for a speeding ticket. Usually they just fine you for late charges.

I have forgotten to pay parking tickets i got months prior and im not on national television. Give her a break and stop acting all high and mighty.
