Kenny Omega Injured But Intends To Return For NJPW This Month

On September 6th, Kenny Omega suffered what appeared to be a torn meniscus but it is now apparent that he suffered a torn MCL in his left knee about 10 days ago. While there is no ACL damage, the prognosis was that he would be out of action for about 4-6 weeks.

Omega is scheduled to defend his IWGP United States Championship against Juice Robinson at Kobe Hall on September 26th, which Omega says he will be ready in time for but that only gives him about 13 days left of recovery.
