Kurt Angle On WWE Hall Of Fame – “WWE Needs To Give Me My Props”

Kurt Angle, the newest inductee to the TNA Hall of Fame, says TNA is an honor but WWE needs to give him his props. The following is from Angle’s Twitter:

In this case I completely agree. Angle is the best worker of a generation and more than deserves a WWE Hall of Fame induction.

I agree angle is the best in ring wrestler ive ever seen but you camt go on twitter telling your former employer to give you props when he leaves tna be it for wwe or retirement i think theyll induct him but not while ges in tna

    • BlazeKing

But WWE is still giving props to Sting (Who isn’t even in the company)… Go figure.

    • Danny_Boy

Angle the greatest you’ve ever seen? You must not know a whole lot about wrestling. Guerrero, Benoit, Mysterio, HBK, Bryan, Ricky Steamboat, Bret Hart Savage, Backland, Flair, Terry Funk were all miles ahead of Angle

      • Robert Olley

Been watching wrestling for 23 years and angle is excellent both on the mat and on the mic although he has been better than he is atm. The people you mentioned are vlose to how good angle is but 2nd best is daniel bryan 3rd chris hero 4th benoit 5th bob backlund

No they don’t, WWE doesn’t owe Angle a damn thing. He ran out on them, joined up the with the competition, spent years bad mouthing them and he thinks the WWE owes him for that?

Actually, I watched Angle’s TNA DVD (Won it for free) and he said he was extremely tired and all he asked was for some time off, which McMahon granted after angle broke down. Angle had every intention to return however as he left, Vince made a comment about how he wasn’t worth shit anywhere else without McMahon, I think he referenced his gold medals in that too. After this Angle was hurt, and pissed and decided to work with TNA to prove what he was worth……

      • jdl

You actually believe that? Arrogant as Vince may be, he’s not an idiot. Angle was a delusional drug addict around the time his last TNA DVD came out.

        • Andrew F.

Why would I not believe that Vince let his ego get in the way of his business?

          • Robert Olley

Vince always does whats best for business and he would not have said that about anybody let alone the man who he planned to carry the ecw brand.

          • Andrew F.

“He would not have said that to anybody” not sure if I’m reading that correctly….. You’re saying Vince McMahon would never put somebody down and below him? Ok.

TNA will nearly hit the 10yr mark of being on TV next march and they have a hall of fame already?

    • Matt

TNA has had this Hall Of Oain over a year now… Where you been?

  • Charles

Oh it’s true. It’s DAMN true!

  • Lrgetrout9

As long as Angle is associated with another company, Vince and Paul will never put him the the WWE hall. Regardless of whether he deserves it or not (and he does).

    • Robert Olley

Love it when fans call wrestlers by their real names like they buds

      • Andrew F.

I don’t see a problem, deciding who goes in the hall of fame is not something PAUL is going to do in his character of HHH, so what’s wrong?

        • Lrgetrout9

My exact reason for the choice of the name I used. Thanks.

I reckon Angles time will come, but not until he has retired well and truly from the ring. Nothing against the guy as I reckon he’s a tremendous wrestler and played his character well, but while he’s still an active wrestler in TNA the last thing WWE is going to do is induct him into the Hall of Fame and let him have his speech at the risk of running his mouth and promoting the competition the night before WrestleMania.

    • Matt

You mean like when they inducted the Four Horseman and Ric Flair was in TNA?

      • Robert Olley

Agreed but angle simply isnt on tge level of ric flair

      • Simon Veitch

Fair point there, but you’ve also got to look at Flairs relationship with WWE when he chose to retire and then wanted to come back and Wrestle, compared to Kurt Angle’s when he left, and how outspoken he’s been at times since then. Flair had a lot of long term relationships with guys like Hunter and Vince where as I don’t honestly know how Kurt stands with them currently.
