Letters Between Ultimate Warrior & Vince McMahon Leak Online, MLB & WWE Network, Richard Sherman

- Heading into his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame, an infamous story regarding the Ultimate Warrior is being revisited. It was long rumored that Warrior demanded more money from Vince McMahon to work SummerSlam 1991, leading to his suspension from the company after the show. Letters from Warrior and Vince McMahon have surfaced online, showing Warrior asked for more money nearly two months before the show. You can read the letters in PDF format here and here. - Wrestling News World reader Kyle Long sent word that WWE was referenced on Monday’s episode of “Around the Horn” on ESPN. They mentioned Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman and his infamous post-game rant on Sunday as playing the role of a heel in a WWE promo.

        Basically, he said he had tried on numerous occasions to talk to Vince but was either brushed off or lied to so put his demands in writing – mainly that he wanted a better WrestleMania bonus and a royalties agreement equal to Hulk Hogan’s agreement, due to the fact he felt he was on par with Hogan. Vince then wrote back agreeing to everything

    I couldn’t read the Warrior’s letter but it sure sounded from Vince’s letter that he gave Warrior just about everything he wanted, so wonder why Warrior demanded more, or did he? Love to know the true story.

      There’s always two sides to every story and WWE always have a fairly one-sided view. Wouldn’t be the first time they lied to make themselves look better or gain sympathy for Vince McMahon
