Actor Liam Neeson was asked during the press junket for "The Grey" about a rumor that he's in talks to play Vince McMahon in the upcoming Chris Benoit biopic entitled "Crossface."

Neeson commented: "No, I never heard of [the movie]."

He went on to say he has no interest in the role because he knows very little about McMahon, almost nothing about Benoit and isn't a pro wrestling fan.

As staunchly opposed as I am to this movie, Liam Neeson portraying Vince McMahon would be ridiculously brilliant.

I thought Liams eyes were too sad looking to play McMahon but if he played McMahon the way he played Dark Man then Liam could convincingly pull it off.

Thank goodness! Not because I don’t like Liam Neeson. I have seen Schindler’s List, one of my all time favorite movies, with amazing acting by him. Other stuff include Taken, Kinsey, etc. It’s that I wouldn’t want to boo him in being a part of a movie that could bury the pro wrestling industry, as well as it could hold everything and everyone else, more to blame or even all to blame, than the man, Chris Benoit himself.

I could be wrong, as I didn’t read the book. I heard it buried Vince McMahon and the industry. Just what I heard. Regardless, I’d prefer it if the cast were nobodies, at least I can boo them and not feel bad about it.

I’d prefer Jeff, or even Beau, Bridges. Jeff could make it work awesome.

Jeff Bridges would be another amazing candidate to play VKM.

I think they should get Eric Bishoff to play McMahon, I think he would pay a great horses ass.

Jeff Bridges is a great option, terrific actor anyways, and Chris Pine to play Benoit.

I don't see Liam being a big fan of wrestling. Remember when the A-Team hosted Raw? He was the only one smart enough to not show up.
