Renee Young welcomes us to the TD Garden in Boston, MA. We’re on the brink of the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. The expert panel consists of Young with Booker T, Alex Riley and Christian.
Daniel Bryan will answer questions that are hashtagged #WWEKickoff for the MITB kickoff. Tom Phillips is in the social media lounge, where he touts the use of the #MITB hashtag throughout the night. Phillips noted how it was odd he was the one in the lounge. Young previously held the job but now replaces Josh Mathews, who was released, as the host of panels.
They roll Daniel Bryan footage, showing The Authority stripping him of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and setting up tonight’s main event. This leads to footage promoting the ladder match for the title.

Christian doesn’t have a favorite but Alex Riley is going with Bray Wyatt. We went over the odds on favorites as Book picks Randy Orton.
Byron Saxton is backstage with Roman Reigns. Reigns said tonight, he’s going to attack and attack some more. And when they’re all down, he’s climbing the ladder and grabbing the title. Then everyone will know this big dog runs the yard.
Video highlights are then ran for the Money in the Bank ladder match. The video focuses on the numbers because Money in the Bank is all about the numbers. When the first Money in the Bank ladder match took place… Paige wasn’t in high school, Cena hadn’t won a title, WWE didn’t have a single video on YouTube, Facebook wasn’t a year old and you couldn’t Re-Tweet any of these facts.
Renee Young announced that Wade Barrett will not participate in the Money in the Bank ladder match due to the shoulder injured that he suffered at last week’s Smackdown taping.
Michael Cole, in the ring, announces Daniel Bryan for the first time since being stripped of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. He gets a loud pop with the arena doing the Yes! chant with him. Bryan runs around the ringside area to pump the crowd. Jerry Lawler and JBL are shown as they talk about being excited about his comments.
Bryan gets on the mic and leads a huge Yes chant. He looks good and rested with a pinkish long sleeve shirt on with the sleeves rolled up and blue jeans. Daniel Bryan says he doesn’t know when he’s going to be back. The strength still hasn’t come back in his arm and they’re talking about doing another surgery. He promises that he will be back and will be better than ever.

Bryan says it wouldn’t be a Daniel Bryan story if he didn’t have a few setbacks but he’s going to come back and win the title. Bryan is asked who the biggest threat is to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tonight. Bryan has three thoughts. 1) John Cena, 2) maybe Randy Orton but 3) someone he thinks is incredible, Roman Reigns.
Bryan said he found out The Authority was stripping him of the title just like everyone else because they didn’t bother to tell him. He said they have to strip him because they can’t beat him and one day someone is going to knock the smug look off Stephanie McMahon’s face.
Bo Dallas interrupts. He says he’s been listening to everything he’s had to say and understands he can’t compete tonight. Gosh, that has to be such a pain in the neck. Dallas says life isn’t about the destination but about the journey. He might not be able to climb the ladder tonight but he can climb the latter of life and get back to the top. All he has to do is Bo-lieve. Bryan appreciates his concern but feels he’s acting as a Bo-ner. The crowd chants it and Bryan asks him to leave.
Renee Young asks the panel for final thoughts. Riley reiterates he sees Bray Wyatt winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. She demands a name from Christian. He picks Randy Orton. Booker reiterates he’s going with Orton. Young signs off to send us to the pay-per-view. The Wyatt Family interrupts as Luke Harper tells The Usos time is up. Erick Rowan, in a sheep mask, tells them to run.
