Mark Henry returned to WWE on this week’s Raw following Daniel Bryan’s victory over Rey Mysterio. Henry took out Bryan on his way to the ring and worked on Mysterio when he got there. Sin Cara came out to make the save but was given the World’s Strongest Slam. Mysterio got up but also took the big man’s finisher. He continued to make light of Mysterio and Cara to make a statement and end the segment.
Henry has been off WWE television since April 2012 after having surgery. He had several setbacks from the injury and was believed to be in a contract dispute with WWE. He wanted assurance he would get another run at the top or was threatening retirement.
The last we heard Henry planned to honor his contract through Wrestlemania 29.
