Richard Gray April 11, 2012 WWE News 1 Comment

Former WWE star and original Tough Enough winner Maven Huffman will seek professional help for his prescription drug addiction, TMZ confirmed today.

While Maven isn’t admitting to any criminal wrongdoing after his arrest, he intends to cooperate with local law enforcement agencies to reach a timely resolution to the matter.

Maven’s attorney, James Flynn, released the following statement to TMZ:

“It is Maven’s sincere hope to use his experience to aid in the prevention of substance abuse and serve as an example to his fellow wrestlers and community at large.”

“Maven would also like his supporters to know that he is humbled by the outpouring of support he has received over the past week and he sincerely apologizes to any of his family members, friends, and fans who have had to read the press surrounding recent events.’

The report adds that Maven is “impressed” with WWE offering to help him in this time of need, with a representative for the company saying they wish Maven nothing but the best.
