I hope Goldberg, Bobby Lashley, and/or X-Pac would make surprise appearance at the Royal Rumble (like Diesel and Booker-T did last year). Those are three of the guys that told fans this year that they are ready to come back to WWE if WWE wants them.

Goldberg would expect mega bucks for a bulls*** appearance, WWE have effectively ignored Lashley and X PAC had a job, then wound up arrested on more drugs charges. Road Dogg might be a good shout!

    Hyped.

When the announcement first broke that every wrestler on the roster is eligible, I assumed that it just meant that competing earlier in the card doesn't rule you out. But watching the promotional video package for the Rumble on last night's RAW, I got the impression that it means the world champions can enter too. So, for example, if CM Punk retains against Dolph Ziggler, he could still enter the Rumble, win the match and challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania.

I'm not saying that's a likely scenario. I'll be flat-out shocked if anything of the sort actually happens. I just got the impression from the wording used in the video that it's technically a possibility.

I guess this puts to bed the rumor that Chris Jericho would show up at #30 after all the participants eliminated themselves and he would just stroll to the ring to get a RR win. The only way that works is by element of surprise and if you know Jericho is supposed to be in the Rumble, but hasn’t shown up yet that it’s going to be him.
