Monday Night Raw To Open 2014 By Going “Old School”

The first episode of Monday Night Raw for the new year will be an “Old School” themed show. While full details are not available as of press time, the theme was revealed in local promotional information. The advertised dark match main event for the taping is WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton vs. John Cena with Booker T as special guest referee.

The show will face stiff competition as it will air opposite the 2014 VIZIO BCS National Championship Game.

“Old School” Monday Night Raw will take place on Monday, January 6, 2014 from the Baltimore Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. Make plans to join our “Open Thread” to discuss the show as it airs live right here at WrestlingNewsWorld.com.

If by “Old School” they mean the return of Batista, I’m not sure I care. Funny how the promos have him saying that he’s tired of waiting when he took his ball and went home.
