So, no CM Punk means lower ratings, people still nursing hangovers from Superbowl parties, or some other nefarious scheme?

  • BrooksOglesby

Honestly, it was just a boring show. I woke up early Monday and I considered going to bed before Raw was over, which I never do. And this is coming from a big Daniel Bryan fan. A great main event match with him, as well as a moonsault off of the cage sounds like the makings of a great show, but WWE just feels so stagnant right now. This is the time of year when they should start stepping things up, but it feels like they’re in autopilot.

Truth. It was really bad. I checked out for the last hour – only returning for the Bryan/Orton.

  • Vic Jose

This is not good for Daniel

    • Xavier

RAW ratings usually take a dive in the 3rd hour no matter what. It’s not a reflection of Bryan or Orton.

lol…so I guess the batista ratings explosion is over? anyways no punk and no cena(which everyone assumed he would show up) kinda figured ratings would drop.

    • Jay El Bee

Kind of hard to continue the “ratings explosion” when the guy is barely on the show.

  • Jonathan Salcido

I find it funny now with Punk gone we hear the McMahons referring to Bryan as a “superstar” with HHH leading the yes chants. Wow. Desperate to drown the chants much?!?!

What’s the most total viewers (not tv share) that Raw has ever gotten?

    • Jay El Bee

Probably the May 1, 2000 episode of Raw that got a 7.4 rating. Now as far as I know they didn’t release viewer numbers back in those days, but if you go by the overrun for that show that got a 9.1 rating or a little over 7 million viewers according the WWE website they probably got 6-6.5 million viewers that week. But then again the commercial free episode from 2009 apparently got about 6.8 million viewers, so assuming my 2000 numbers are accurate it would be the 2009 episode of Raw.

Punk is gone that’s why the ratings are low, punk is god he can do no wrong.

    • Mysterion

Jesus these IWC joke accounts are getting more overused than the Sin Cara gimmick.

      • Nostaljack

Truth. The “Vince” one is cute because the writer has material. The others are redux and boring.

ONLY good part of the show was the tag match and main event
