- Vince McMahon said back in August there were plans for a new one-hour live show to air before WWE Raw. With the news breaking last week the company was extending their Monday night tapings a full hour, this appears to be the plan beginning on July 2, 2012.
- Alberto Del Rio didn't work last night's Smackdown live event in Newark, Delaware despite being advertised as he is actually in Japan doing promotional work for WWE. Rey Mysterio was originally scheduled to go but was replaced due to his 60-day suspension for violating the company Wellness Policy.
- Last night's WWE Raw live event in Syracuse, New York drew a monster crowd and according to Chris Jericho, broke a record. The following is from Jericho's Twitter account:
Great show and crowd in Syracuse tonight!!! Record breaking gross too...See u in Rochester and don't forget to kiss your moms! 🙂
