TMZ is reporting that WWE will induct Mr. T into the celebrity wing of their Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2014.

Vince McMahon is quoted in the report, saying, "His WWE appearances were instrumental in helping to establish WrestleMania as the pop-culture phenomenon it is today."

Mr. T turned down WWE's offer to be inducted in 2009. He teamed with Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania I and faced Roddy Piper in a boxing match at Wrestlemania II.

Mr. T joins Carlos Colon, The Ultimate Warrior, Lita, Jake Roberts and Paul Bearer as 2014 inductees. The 2014 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2014 from the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, LA.

Richard Reacts: A very deserving induction into the celebrity wing and perfect timing with Hogan's return to the company.

Long over due, I pity the fool, who think Mr. T doesn’t deserve this.

It’s about damn time, well deserved. If any celebrity deserves too be inducted it’s Mr.T, he played a pivotal role in the early success of WrestleMania. Either Hogan or Piper should induct him.

The only reason is not in th HOF, is that, until now, he didn’t want to go in.

He should have been the first celebrity in the Hall in my opinion.

funny because the undeserved Drew Carey who’s made a fool outta himself got inducted a few years back while the most deserving Mr. T is…well WWE logic I guess

Read the article, MR T turned it down before, not WWE’s fault for overlooking him.
