How Much Do WWE PPVs Cost? George Barrios Opens Up About WWE Network

WWE Chief Financial Officer George Barrios was interviewed by CFO Publishing. In it, he talked about WWE Network

He said today the company's pay-per-views go for $70 but with WWE Network, you can get them for $9.99/month. (Editor's note: It's fairly bizarre he said that as the cost is actually $54.95 for a WWE PPV in HD, unless he's specifically talking about Wrestlemania, which carries a heftier price tag.)

Barrios went on to put over how many devices the WWE Network is available on. He also re-affirmed the timeline for the Network's phase one international launch. It's scheduled to launch at the end of the year in the following English-speaking countries - “UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong and the Nordics”

He also talked about how WWE chooses their partners, giving partnerships with Mattel and 2KSports as examples. You can watch the interview at this link or embedded in the video below:

It also depends on the country you are in. Im from Mexico and all PPV’s including Wrestlemania cost 369 pesos. Thats about 30 dollars each.

English speaking countries like the “Nordics”….???

  • Scott Reichart

Wrestlemania PPV on SD i think according to my comcast guide says is 70 bucks

  • jman72485

I paid 59.99 for Wrestlemania last year. Hope it stays the same

I was one of the earliest converters to HD in my group of friends and family and have been used to paying more for HD but Wrestlemania prices are ridiculous. Fortunately, for 10 bucks we get a 6 hour show now (preshow 2 hours) and maybe a post show.

  • Simon Veitch

Depends on the country, in Australia the PPV events are $35, including Wrestlemania in HD. In saying that, once the. Network launches down here I’ll be getting it

Is it just me, or does this guy look a little bit like Shane Mcmahon?
