Stephanie McMahon Returning To WWE TV

We're told Paul Heyman has been pushing hard to get Stephanie McMahon involved in the Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar program. Nothing has been decided yet as to her level of involvement, if any, but she has been receptive to the idea.

While Heyman and Stephanie haven't gotten along well at all in the past, both feel it would just add to the dynamic of Triple H with Stephanie facing Lesnar with Heyman.

Celebrity Surge For Wrestlemania 29

WWE has made a late surge for celebrity involvement at this year's Wrestlemania 29. On Thursday, the company announced both Sean "Diddy" Combs and Maria Menounos. A deal was finalized on Monday for Arnold Schwarzenegger to induct Bruno Sammartino into the WWE Hall of Fame.

While Wrestlemania traditionally features celebrity tie-ins, there had some been some back and forth about how much celebrity involvement was needed with both The Rock and Brock Lesnar on the show. While WWE has been negotiating with Arnold for weeks, we're told the acquisition of Diddy was seen as more of a panic move to assure the show had a musical performance by a celebrity.

Diddy? They “panic” and come up with…Diddy? What relevance does Diddy have on the 2013 musical landscape? His last record with “Dirty Money” didn’t do well at all. It only had one single that did anything but the record has largely been seen as the failing mess it was. There were 7 singles released and it didn’t even go gold – no matter how hard he shoved it down our throats. Also, this was 2 1/2 years ago; he’s done nothing since. Whoever thought this was a good idea is totally “out of it” from a musical standpoint.

It’s NYC, he’s from NYC, it makes sense.

It would have about a decade ago. It doesn’t anymore.

Don’t get not someone not being relevant to you, mixed up with them being relevant to the world. Vince Mcmahon and the WWE isn’t relevant to everyone, but they have a large following and are relevant to people who like wrestling. Not liking them, doesn’t deny their popularity.

Not relevant as in hasn’t had anything approaching a hit on his own in ages. Has nothing to do with my personal tastes. I would have said “I don’t like him” if it did. You’re right in that it isn’t applicable here.
