New Reigns/Ambrose Shirts, Steiner Comments On WWE Network, Raw GIF

- Below is a screen shot of a new Roman Reigns t-shirt released by WWE:

- The new shirt of Dean Ambrose reads “Unstable” and can be seen below:

- Scott Steiner made some interesting comments regarding the WWE Network to The Miami Herald. Below is an excerpt:

“Just because somebody follows you don’t mean they are going to pay for it. A lot of people are misjudging the popularity of people or characters. It’s bull****. I think they did the same thing. A lot of those wrestlers have a lot of Twitter followers, but all that combined they should be able to get $9.99 for the Network. They found out they don’t pay…When do you concede that you failed? They live in their own little box and think they are all geniuses. So when are they going to concede that they are not as smart as they think they are?”

What a bitter man Scott Steiner has become.

    • Silver

True, but he’s absolutely correct. Too many companies seem to think that social media followers translate into consumers and that’s just not true. Now WWE is paying the price for overhyping their own popularity.

      • K!NG

Or the fact like everything now days people find ways to get things with out paying for them

        • Avalanchian

So very true. and let’s be honest about the companies. They give away stuff or kind of force you to like/follow them on Twitter/Facebook or whatever. I have followed so many things just for a chance to win something, but it doesn’t mean I’m truly a fan of theirs.

  • K!NG

Reigns shirts looks like a rip off of a old batista shirt, scott steiner should know all about being over hyped.

  • saif

I’d rather see ads in the network then having to pay for it

  • BG

If the network does not pan out. I don’t know how WWE would salvage their relationship with cable for their ppv shows. Cheaper ppv may be a start.

    • Avalanchian

Wouldn’t really be cheaper for us buying them. But I would think the companies doing the PPV would get a bit more money than before.

So typing “unstable” in an ugly ass font is the merchandise Ambrose gets? Probably the worst and uninspired design I’ve seen from WWE. I can’t picture a grown man wearing that.

  • Mike McCarthy

WWE needs to realize that when someone wears a WWE shirt, not every person they walk past that day is a fan of wrestling. They need shirts that look good even if someone isn’t familiar with wrestling. If I wore that shirt out 70% people I see would just think I’m wearing a shirt informing people that I’m unstable.

    • Chris

Actually, with all the skit shirts around, that one looks pretty normal. Do you have any idea how many shirts I’ve seen on a daily basis with some sort of catchy phrase or comment scrawled on them? I’ve purchased few shirts in my time, but I might actually go for that one, because you can wear it without it being an obvious wrestling shirt. Not a ton of explaining to people.

  • John

Why would anyone wait until 8PM on Sunday when they can just go watch it right now if they want? The 24/7 streaming thing is pointless unless it’s for live content.

  • senior joe

the number don’t lie,,and they spell DISASTER!!!!!

Steiner hit so many nails squarely on the head with his comments. The guy is out there in his own little world, but he knows the business and his comments are as true as it gets. A big time player in the industry would help performers, fans and the individual companies. The ratings now suck compared to the height of the business when there was competition. The only great thing about the industry today is how much money is going into Vince and Linda’s pockets.
