No Mystery in TNA Cuts

There seems to be a lot of debate and over-analyzation about TNA Wrestling looking to save money. The formula is simple, when costs exceed revenue, the company will look to balance it. This is being done by restructuring contracts and releasing people there is either nothing for or are getting paid more than their value to the company. Taping television on the road is expensive and has considerably increased the company’s costs.

Concerns regarding TNA’s structure at the top is confusing but it’s always been confusing. Are Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff in charge or does Dixie Carter have the final say? What about Panda Energy and Janice Carter? This has not changed.

I’m not quite sure why there would be questions or analysis on why cuts are made or contracts are restructured. It’s just a part of the business. Every company looks at cost vs. revenue when deciding the value of a worker / employee. The sad part that I see is that more television time isn’t given to the up and coming workers and less time for the Hogan ego. Hogan should be on the telecast for about 30 seconds somewhere, but certainly not a centerpiece in any way. His drawing power is still very strong on the road, but it is not necessary for him to be a focus on television. More of a Nigel McGuinness type of role in the background would be ideal. Let him be heard, but not seen very much.

They went on the road before they were ready to do it – pure and simple. Yet another in a long series of boneheaded moves by TNA. Once you start letting people go en mass (including Pritchard?!?!?) and restructuring deals (not the first time they’ve done it, btw), you have a huge problem. Hide behind silly reasoning if they must; I still say they’re in big trouble.

Looks Like Once Again TNA is dropping the ball with their talent roster…They are losing alot of top quality talent all because they don’t want to keep paying them what they have been….Bruce Pritchard,Tara & Now D Lo Brown…..who will be next?…Lately it seems like they want TNA to end…TNA better stop playing the cheapskate and paying their talent hat they are worth or soon they won’t have any stars left to continue. They have been asking some talent to renegotiate their contracts for less pay.(In the Case of Bruce Pritchard) .,He refused so needless to say he is gone.Maybe we could see a re-birth of “Brother Love” in WWE’s Future?I personally would welcome that.Possibly a “Victoria” Return and maybe, who knows,D Lo also. But what can ya do…either TNA will get their heads out of their asses and pay their talent right, use them like they should or in the end there won’t be a TNA.I myself would rather watch TNA than WWE…WWE to me has been stagnant for 5 years..it’s been same old same old and TNA has new stuff every week.will that change? stay the same ? Only Time will tell.

I’m not his biggest fan but DOC was a big part of the Aces & Eights storyline but yet they released him. If I were gonna release someone from that group it would easily be Knux and Garrett Bischoff.
