Help WNW & Nielson Form Accurate "Net Ratings" & Enter To Win $1,000

Written by Ryan Gray on Jun 19, 2008 - 1:22:41 PM

As many know, Nielson Media Research is the group that examines data from households to determine the average rating of television shows. This data helps advertisers and networks see which show is drawing the most amounts of viewers. Without this data, advertisers would not be able to effectively purchase advertising on television networks.

Nielson is now trying to do the same with the Internet. Examine data to see which websites are visited the most, per demographic. That is why Wrestling News World has teamed up with Nielson Media Research to begin producing “Net Ratings.” Here is an explanation:

For more than 50 years, Nielsen Television Families have helped shape TV programming and advertising by sharing information on their viewing habits. Now it's your turn to help revolutionize another important frontier - the Internet - by joining Nielsen's iPanel. Nielsen iPanel is an online market research panel that helps us understand how people like you are using their computers and the Internet. We do this by monitoring your computer and Internet usage through our proprietary iPanel software and through your participation in surveys. By participating in Nielsen's iPanel, you will influence strategies of leading companies and drive innovation in the marketplace. In addition, you will be eligible to play our "Wave and Win" Instant Rewards game and have the chance to participate in other exciting prize drawings!

Visitors in the United States who participate in the program will automatically be entered into a contest to win 1 in 50 $1,000 Prizes. That’s right; you will become eligible to win $1,000 for downloading some software and surfing the Internet just like normal. This is a win-win situation for everyone involved. There is only a limited amount of people we can accept into this program, so please follow the instructions below to enter to win $1,000 and make the Internet a better place to surf!

Instructions:
1. Fill out your household profile by CLICKING HERE.
2. Complete the installation of our NielsenOnline.exe iPanel software.
3. Simply use your computer and the Internet as you normally would.

This software is 100% safe for your computer, as I am already using it. All of your viewing habits are kept anonymous, just as if you were using a Nielson Box on your Television set. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to email me.

At this time we are only accepting visitors from the United States

 DID YOU KNOW?
People think that Sid Justice double-crossed Vince McMahon by kicking out of Hogan's leg drop at WrestleMania VIII, which isn't the case at all. Papa Shango was late for his run-in during the match which left Sid no choice but to kick out.
