WNW reader Simon Veitch sent in the following report:
Hey guys, just got back from the Hulkamania show in Melbourne and I'm sorry to say it was a complete disappointment. From start to finish it looked like the guys were lacking in-ring psychology and couldn't care less about the show.
Attendance was poor and tickets were significantly dropped in price to $100AU for 2nd and 3rd row ring side seats. All tickets were also being upgraded and I ended up close to the front.

Hulk Hogan Defeated Ric Flair.
Ric Flair vs Hogan disappointed as the match only lasted about 10 minutes with both bleeding towards the end, having Flair return in front of maybe 6,000 people in a venue that can hold about 15,000 for WWE shows down here was a bad move. Hogans knee seemed pretty banged up as well as he was wearing a knee brace and didn't use his leg drop finisher or take many bumps at all. The match ended with a brass knuckle shot from Hogan to Flair for the win while Lacey von Erich distracted the referee.
