Wrestling News World reader Dan Heaford sent in the following report and pictures:
I went to the WFX Wrestling event in Winnipeg, Canada last night, which was headlined by "The Franchise" Shane Douglas defeating Raven and Justin Credible in a triple threat match. Shane Douglas and Justin Credible both had difficulty getting to Winnipeg out of the North East US, so the event ran a little late as their flights both arrived during the event.
Also, Bob Holly, sporting a new tattoo, teamed with Kip (Billy Gunn) defeating "Mr Pectacular" Jesse Godderz (formerly of Big Brother) and "Prime Cut" Jon Cutler (formerly of WWE developmental).
w/ Johnny Fairplay (formerly of Survivor).
NWA World Champion "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce defeated "First Nation Sensation" Wavell Starr in a title match.
Those are pretty much the only match results worth mentioning. I should also note Adam Pearce did a run-in following the triple threat main event match and laid out Shane Douglas with the NWA Title.
Since Raven is a TNA talent, I found it odd he was able to be booked for this show, since these matches are taped for the WFX Overload show which airs in the US on America One and in Canada on the Fight Network.
I took a few pictures of Holly sporting his new tattoo and Adam Pearce standing over a laid out Shane Douglas on my phone, so please excuse the quality, but feel free to post them on the website if you wish.
