The Calgary Herald has a new article online detailing the recent arrest of Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. The piece features quotes from Neidhart's daughter Jenni Neidhart and brother-in-law Ross Hart.
The publication reveals Neidhart was actually arrested at a gas station, not a hospital as noted in the police report. A gas station employee notified authorities when Neidhart allegedly was making a scene, spilling and ingesting pills when he stopped to put fuel in his car.
"From what I understand, he was agitated and not very happy to be handcuffed and taken away," Ross Hart told the publication.
Jenni, Neidhart's oldest daughter, said her father needs help.
"It's sad because we know our father is not a criminal," she told the Calgary Herald. "He's a sick person who needs help and this is a serious cry for help."
