The News & Observer out of Raleigh, North Carolina has identified the 22-year-old-man that was in an altercation with Ric Flair as the boyfriend of his daughter Ashley. (See - Ric Flair Involved In An Altercation That Results In His Daughter Being Arrested)
The altercation occurred Friday in the parking lot of an apartment complex when police were called to respond to a fight in progress. Chapel Hill Police Captain Chris Blue declined to release the name of Ashley's boyfriend because he said that the boyfriend could still face charges but did tell The News & Observer the following: "Everybody had been drinking and they didn’t appear that happy to see the police... It sounds like they had a pretty good dust-up."
Ric Flair was left with a nasty black while his daughter was tased and arrested for assault on a police officer and resisting arrest. Neither Flair nor the boyfriend filed charges on the scene.
