Nick Bollea, the son of Hulk Hogan, was sentenced today on criminal charges stemming from his car accident on August 25, 2007 that left his friend John Graziano critically injured.
Bollea entered a plea of no contest to the charges brought against him and as a result was sentenced to 8 months in the Pinelles County Jail (incarceration will begin immediately), five years of probation, 500 hours community service, a mandatory advanced defensive driving class, some type of DUI class, as well as a no-alcohol provision under the terms of his probation.
Bollea's driver's license was also revoked until he is 21 years old.
From what I understand, Bollea's lawyer will not appeal the sentence and he will not be given a felony record.
Richard Reacts: I think that the sentence is fair. Nick has had too many driving violations and needs to understand that he must take responsibility for his actions. Eight months incarceration will be tough but you know what they always say - if you can't do the time, don't do the crime!
