Potential WrestleMania 35 Locations, Maryse Update, SmackDown Storylines

What are the potential finalist locations for WrestleMania 35 in 2019?

I've been told that Detroit, Minnesota, Los Angeles (at a new stadium), and Las Vegas are in the running for WrestleMania 35 or 36. Chicago wants in as well, but has nowhere to hold it currently. WWE has told the city no to Solider Field once before due to the weather on the water in the spring. There's been speculation online about London, but that doesn't seem feasible right now.

What's the status of Miz and Maryse? Is she really leaving WWE?

As we reported in WNW Premium on Monday, Maryse is set to take some time off, but she's not leaving WWE per se. I'm not quite sure the accuracy of reports suggesting Miz and Maryse were split because of Mike and Maria Kanellis, considering the couples are on opposite brands with different gimmicks. Plus, Maryse is still supposed to be featured on Total Divas. Luckily for Miz, he has Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas at his side now to continue doing dirty work for him while his wife is gone. I'm excited to see where this entourage goes.

Is the MITB rematch a wrong choice? If Carmella doesn't win, it will seriously damage the women's division.

This storyline has almost completely played out, and it's garnered quite a bit of discussion from fans. As I mentioned in CJ's Chitchat, I was disappointed and excited with the decision to strip Carmella and do a rematch. I'm hopeful we see a potentially better match/ending on Tuesday, but I still would like to see Carmella win. However, as of Saturday, the plan was for Carmella not to win the briefcase back. Obviously plans could change over the next 48 hours, so we'll just have to see. I'm really not sure who should get it now... perhaps Becky?

I know it is still way too early to even talk about next year's WrestleMania, but now that all three of them are on the same brand, do you think we will finally see a Triple Threat Match between Charlotte, Natalya, and Tamina? Not for the Championship but a battle to determine the "Supreme Legacy?" If the angle is written right and the build up is smart, I can see this match being great. What do you think?

If only WWE were that creative. I'm not sure how well it would fit on the WrestleMania card if it weren't for the SmackDown Women's Championship, but this proposed storyline is something I would be interested in seeing. Actually, I wouldn't be against it happening sooner, like at SummerSlam. I anticipate Naomi, Carmella, and possibly Lana staying in the title picture for the rest of the summer, so why not use the other three? Build up the legacy story and put the number one contendership up for grabs, and I think many would be interested.

Lol a match with Charlotte and two terrible workers (one ridiculously overrated) will be a good match? That’s a weekly show type match and I wouldn’t even watch it then. No way that match ever takes up space at the biggest PPV of the year…or any PPV for that matter.

Not having Carmella win again is a huge mistake. It totally makes her character worthless and dependent on a guy.

IMO, I think that St. Louis (either Busch Stadium or Edward James Stadium) or Boston (Gillette Stadium) should get WrestleMania. These two cities are known to sell out WWE events there and I think they’re overdue for a WrestleMania. Thoughts?

Considering St. Louis is my “wrestling hometown,” I would love nothing more than WrestleMania going there as both stadiums would probably work. STL or Boston would be a nice change of scenery than New York or the south.

I don’t understand why WWE hasn’t done Wrestlemania at the Rose Bowl? They could easily do 90,000 and would look so awesome. If not that, I would say Seattle would be good in the Seahawks home.

  • People need to get Wrestlemania out of their heads for Wrestlemania. The timezone simply will not allow for the show to be live and you can’t have the biggest show of the year tapped. if live at 7pm EDT the nearly 5 hour show would start in london at Midnight which would not be safe for the workers to be working that late in the evening. for the show to start at 7 PM london the show would begin at 2 PM EDT which would kill the last day of Axxess. and these times don’t even take in account for the 2 hour pre-show.

London is not possible for Wrestlemania. London should get a B PPV but Not Wrestlemania.

If Chicago will only let them use the United Center for Wrestlemania then that would be perfect.
