Punk Pulled From All Scheduled Shows

As of this writing, it appears as though CM Punk has been pulled from all shows leading up to Elimination Chamber, and all shows after Elimination Chamber to Wrestlemania. He is no longer listed as an appearing Superstar on any of the listings for house or televised shows on dot.com.

I am not going to speculate as to what happened at this point. I’m sure Richard will get to the bottom of this as soon as any information is known.

    Bummer/Work perhaps?

    • Jesse Sherwood

Not likely. He has been removed from all Live, Raw, and Smackdown ticket listings on dot com.

    • Xavier

Or injury related. He spent a good portion of the Rumble on the mat.

      • Jesse Sherwood

That is a good possibility. He took a pretty nasty bump when he was eliminated, and the chokeslam through Spanish Announce looked really rough.

        • Xavier

Very true, and even before the chockslam he really didn’t do a whole lot in the Rumble after the 10-15 minute mark.

          • Bob’s Diner

Yeah there was point in there I thought he told someone to go away…
If he is gone, though, I’m sure we will hear it from the man himself. He isn’t the quiet type

      • JR Texx (Jamie)

I don’t think he is injured, I mean he’s taking all the live dates off, apart from Elimination Chamber.

        • Bob’s Diner

He hasn’t been advertised for Elimination Chamber – they hadn’t booked a match for him yet

          • JR Texx (Jamie)

Didn’t say he was booked, he’s off up ’till EC, and after, not during.

          • Bob’s Diner

All good I misread what you are saying. Certainly doesn’t sound too positive, from what I’m hearing right now…

          • JR Texx (Jamie)

I think he’s just walked out. If he was injured there is no reason why they would have taken him off before EC and after, not during.

          • Jesse Sherwood

He is still listed on dot com for EC in the ticket details section of the event, unlike with any other event leading up to it or after it.

  • Christen

If there is any information it will be Premium which means those of us who can pay for it won’t know!

  • Christen

He could be injured it could be a work you never know. Or it could be a problem with wwe they did the same with Cena and few others long time ago

  • DanfromOz

I guess we’ll just have to play the waiting game

  • Devansh Kotak

there is a rumor that he was pissed after royal rumble and just left.. also the plans are to make d.bryan face triple h so punk is left without a main event match and also he thinks its wrong that part-time wrestlers are getting the push that full time guys like him, ziggler, etc desserve

    • Bob’s Diner

He must have taken the news of Sting signing pretty hard

  • amaanakter

Come on Richard we need an update!

    • Bob’s Diner

Pretty sure it is very early in America, so you may have to wait a while for an update. And even then, I don’t know how much Richard is going to be able to find out

      • JR Texx (Jamie)

        Yeah it’s early hours.

I just happened to be awake at 2:30AM when the info started rolling in, so I got it posted to start the ball rolling on this story.

        • Bob’s Diner

Good work – I was surprised to see something at this time. It was only a fan tweeting Lance Storm about it that brought me here

I have always liked Punk, but put your big boy pants on… You can’t just walk out on your job and not expect repercussions…. Punk should be terminated for this, and I am extremely disappointed in him. Even if the plan to put DB vs HHH was made before he walked out, I heard it changed after, then obviously they would find a match for him at WM. They pay him a ton of money to do his job… You can’t just walk out…

    • Bob’s Diner

Uh I think he is gone – that’s the point. He apparently had a private meeting with Vince McMahon before leaving, so I wouldn’t really call it walking out. He could be seriously injured, he could have some personal problems – bit harsh to make such comments without knowing anything

      • Stephen Cash

Other sites have already reported that he walked out Monday after being upset about part-timers and WM… this site is just taking it’s time reporting it. And I think we can all agree this behavior is exactly out of character for Punk

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

We report confirmed facts, not just rumors, that’s why we have earned our great reputation. We would rather report the facts than rush ahead with unsubstantiated rumors. At the time I posted this, the only confirmable information was that Punk had been pulled. If all of mainstream media ran the way wrestling newz sites do, it would be utter mayhem of rumors flying willy-nilly, and it’s bad enough as it is!

We would rather be a few minutes later with the facts than rushing in early with false claims that only hurt rather than inform.

    WTF???

  • Philip Dickens

other news sites are saying he walked out as he was unhappy with his wrestlemania program, and tna are rubbing it in by posting videos of his stint in tna
