The official WWE Insider Twitter account posted the following tweet minutes ago:

BREAKING: @RandyOrton injured at #Smackdown in Indianapolis tonight. More details to follow on WWE.com as they become available.

It is unknown at this time whether or not the injury is legitimate, but live reports are indicating that his match on Smackdown this week (Spoilers available at this link) ended abruptly after the final spot.

dont believe its real, it was a falls count anywhere fight so having orton be "injured" is much more likely

I was there, Ankle injury in the beginning of the match running into the stairs…look legit and then he tweaked it again

Considering what happened to Ken Anderson, wade may want to volunteer to be a member of the Vince McMahon kiss my ass club, at least that way he may get to keep his job. Accident or not..Randy Orton is one of the golden boys in the locker room. All he has to do is tell HHH and Vince someone isn’t ready and that person gets buried or future endevored.

I was in attendance on Tuesday and with the way the match abruptly ended there is no doubt in my mind that it was a legit injury. I'm not sure what he exactly injured, but it did like he tweaked his ankle early on. Match was doomed from the start
