I heard he dropped some weight while rehabbing. Orton has been out due to a wellness policy violation, his second (ish). When her returns, he will likely be in the main event again as he has been advertised for title matches on house shows. And Rey is also recovering from an injury as well. I know WWE wanted him to feud with Sin Cara, but I don’t know if that is still the plan when he comes back.

I also agree that punk has levelled out and fallen a little flat. They needed to push his ‘pipe bombs’ a little more because after THAT promo he’s been less and less controversial. I’m loving his long title run but feel his promos have slipped a little into the generic
‘I’m gonna kick your ass’ cena mould. Bryan for me needs to hold the title now for a while and have punk chase him giving him something a little different to do, hopefully with Jericho involved so we have an amazing 3 person feud leading to summerslam.

This,combined with the fact his gimmick had been watered down,effectively destroyed all his momentum,turning him into just another guy that’s taking a backseat to John Cena. Whats ironic is that since HHH will not let any young stars get over,the company he’s inheriting will crumble.

I think the grades were a bit unfair here. This Raw might have been acceptable if their were 4 weeks until the next PPV and this Raw was the first after the last PPV.

Im usually extremely positive about WWE, and the people on my website actually consider me to be too positive about Raw, SmackDown, and everything in between. But this was a bad episode and probably didn't make one person want to buy MITB (other than the AJ Lee storyline). I'm still gonna buy the show, but a bad go home.

Fun review to read as always though (this blog is usually the highlight of my Tuesday nights lol)

Notice how anytime they want destroy something, they always have Hornswoggle do it? Let's see…

1)Cruiserweight Championship – retired after putting poor talented Chavo through humiliation.

2)Vince's "bastard son" storyline – one of the worst angles in the last decade.

3) Finlay's career – ruined/ turned into a joke face with crappy entrance music once he aligned himself with Hornswoggle. Faded into obscurity after that.

4) Degeneration-X

5) Anonymous GM – Ironically enough Michael Cole, John Laurinaitis or Mike Adamle would have been FAAAR better choices.
