R.I.P Reid and my heartfelt condolences to Ric and his family. No one should ever have to bury their child.

  • sir-rusty82

Not hard to see how he died Ric should have known better than to bring his kids in the wrestling buisness

    • http://www.facebook.com/Sythian Simon Veitch

Considering there is no information at all about his cause of death, what the hell makes you so high and mighty that you can bring it down on the whole wrestling business. Have some damn respect.

      • sir-rusty82

Ok information was given he was found in his hotel room no foul play involved. I guess it must have been natural causes then my bad. The sad thing is he died at such a young age following his dads footsteps the father in me in disgusted in Ric……… that aint trolling thats my opinion

        • http://www.facebook.com/Sythian Simon Veitch

So what you’re saying is everyone found dead in a hotel room had to be involved in wrestling? Drug culture exist everywhere, and Reid hadn’t had the best run even before debuting all those years ago when he was arrested for battery. He wasn’t even a wrestler at that point.

Factor in Ric’s many divorces and the kids been through a lot outside of wrestling to send anyone off the rails. Following in wrestling isn’t necessarily connected as you make it out to be

          • sir-rusty82

No just being a junkie drug fiend but keep sticking up for them…….. the world will never learn. Have you not seen the documentary/interviews about the wrestling industry and the drug intake and now another young life to the records and you cant tell me someone like Ric didnt know what his son was doing to get into wrestling

          • http://www.facebook.com/Sythian Simon Veitch

Point still stands though that while it’s true there are a lot of drugs in wrestling, drugs are ALWAYS a choice and not a mandatory requirement to be a wrestler. One only has to looks as far as CM Punk to realise that if you personally don’t want anything to do with it, you don’t need to get involved. Add to this that teenagers and young adults are stupider and more wreckless than ever with drugs and alcohol now that even if he wasn’t a wrestler this could easily have happened still

          • sir-rusty82

BLAH BLAH BLAH who cares about your point the fact is he was a wrestler and just another number to the statistics. No tears shed over people who do it to themselves Ill save my tears and condolences for people who die accidently

          • http://www.facebook.com/phil.garrie Phil D. Garrie

Why does the way someone passes have any indication on them being remembered with love and respect? Would you still think this way if your own son died the same way, just going to write him off as a mistake that’s better gone? I kinda wish you had the chance to share your views with ric personally just so I can watch him beat your ass up and down the street. Get cha popcorn!!

          • Pronix

I love how rusty states that its his opinion “that aint trolling thats my opinion”,

However when its showed his opinion is flawed and becomes illogical nonsensical ramblings, doesn’t he come back with this gem.

“BLAH BLAH BLAH who cares about your point”

In other words, thats him declaring phil the winner… by tap out with the figure 4 leg lock

As a father myself sir-rusty, i pity your child as it seems in your world its your opinion or none. Even if it is obviously wrong and flawed you are still entitled to it, and each their own.

I believe the saying goes – Don’t paint everyone with the same brush.

Personally I hope your child becomes something you detest so you understand that no matter what life choice they make, if they have common human decency and respect, they’ll be far better then then your high strung illogical morals.

          • sir-rusty82

What else did I say after the point I gave him the facts. I dont paint everyone with the same just those with drug problems. What would you know about me as a father. So my morals for saying drugs are bad is bad morals I guess I should bring my kid up like Ric Flair did and have his morals maybe even inject him myself to make sure he dies an early age

          • http://www.facebook.com/phil.garrie Phil D. Garrie

You are either blind or just plain ignorant. Good luck living with this mentality and being oblivious to the world. Drug addiction while starting with personal choice is still a mental illness that slowly takes that choice away. Most can’t quit without help. And had parents who raised them right. They still found a way to drugs. Teenagers have a way of drifting towards experimentation of that sort.. So when your child gets to that point are you going to disown him? Be happy he is dying because he chose to be this way? Oh and by the way alcohol is a drug by definition. And prescription medication? Ya just as bad for your health body and soul in the long term despite whatever you might be brainwashed to believe.

          • sir-rusty82

you sound like you take drugs for defending it so much……..don’t forget this was a man not a kid and in their profession they know what the risks are and it was his CHOICE to make that decision not an addiction and yes his dad had the responsibility to make sure his kids didn’t go down that path if following in his foot steps

          • http://www.facebook.com/phil.garrie Phil D. Garrie

my wife’s profession is in counselling for alcohol and drug addiction so I have been thoroughly educated on certain topics. You are too close minded assuming that all drug problems come because you had a shitty father. There are a plethora of other reasons people get seduced down that path.

          • sir-rusty82

I would beat the living s h i t out of flair but wouldnt because his to old pffft do you really believe he could fight just coz his a wrestler

          • http://www.facebook.com/phil.garrie Phil D. Garrie

Internet toughness. You are awarded one troll point.

          • sir-rusty82

Whats so tough about saying I wouldn’t beat up an old man
