Report: WWE Studios To Co-Produce Vince Vaughn Film

Variety is reporting that WWE Studios has joined PalmStar Media Capital to co-finance and co-produce the Vince Vaughn thriller “Term Life.” The film is due out in 2015.

Below is a synopsis courtesy of Variety:

The movie revolves around a man who plans and sells heists to the highest bidder, but when his latest job goes horribly wrong he finds himself hunted by everyone he knows — mob bosses, contract killers and dirty cops. With no way out, he takes out a life insurance policy on himself with his estranged daughter as the beneficiary, but must go on the run together to stay alive and become a father for the first time when it turns out the policy doesn’t take effect for 21 days.

Am I the only one who thinks this sounds like a terrible plot? Then I guess it makes sense that it’s being produced by WWE. Their movies just disappoint so badly to me. The Marine had the potential to be a good movie, but the way they wrote it was terrible. See No Evil was not even remotely scary. The Chaperone was garbage. Then you have The Marine movies 2 thru 35 with “insert wrestler name”. I don’t understand who at WWE makes the decisions on what movies to produce, but whoever it is, needs to be power bombed thru the desk in their oversized office.

Call me an idiot but I don’t think it sounds horrible, and I HATE Vince vaughn with a passion.
