Rob Van Dam Returning To WWE Next Month

WWE announced at WWE Payback that Rob Van Dam is returning to the company at WWE Money in the Bank 2013 next month.

WWE Money in the Bank 2013 will take place Sunday, July 14, 2013 from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

We’ve heavily covered WWE’s interest in Rob Van Dam’s services, with the rumors igniting after he appeared at the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony in April. The following is from an interview Van Dam did about his contract status in mid-April:

RVD said “anything is possible” regarding his contract status but said he had plans but is a skeptic by nature and until his name is not on the dotted line somewhere, it’s not for sure. RVD confirmed he hasn’t signed a contract with anyone but he couldn’t imagine going back to the same schedule he did before. He said a full-time schedule is not in his best interests.

RVD may not be a superstar of the popularity of a rock or austin but is an established name and can be used to put over newer stars like what Jericho has been doing of-late.

That’s true…but I would live to see him in a died with CM Punk.

Agreed and with Heyman involved they could easily set up a feud between the 2.

  • Hercules Rockerfeller

They are going to limit his vocabulary again to “whatever” and “cool”

  • Anand Vijayakumar

Is he returning full time like other wwe stars or on a slightly part-time kind of schedule?

RVD and all 3 of his moves will return to a ring near you soon. Who cares? As long as weed is still a Wellness Policy violation, we all know he won’t be around much. Too bad too, back in the day he could really bring it. Now he is just a shell of what he once was.
