One half of the Ring of Honor tag team champions Mark Briscoe is injured and will be out indefinitely due to a wrist injury that will require surgery. To explain his absence, the company ran an angle at last night’s Chicago Ridge, Illinois show where the Age of the Fall attacked him with a foreign object that bloodied his wrist.
Briscoe has been working banged up since the Dover, New Jersey Ring of Honor shows last month, however, when it was discovered that he needed surgery, Ring of Honor had to write him off upcoming events. As of this writing there is no word on what the company will do with the tag team titles or on when Briscoe will be able to return.
ROHWrestling.com has a storyline article now online on Mark’s injury.
Richard Reacts: Obviously this is bad for everyone involved but injuries happen. Hopefully Mark will be able to get back soon after he undergoes the surgery that he needs. We are still looking for results from last night's ROH show in Chicago Ridge. If you attended the event please send us a live report by clicking here.
