WNW reader Brian Brennan sent in the following report:
Overall Great Show. Every match was Incredible. I was second row next to the Entrance ramp. For only $40 a seat they were awesome.
Their was a dark match but didn't hear the names. It was alright.
1. El Generico defeats Jack Evans with the Brain Bustaaaaaah. Normal Evans stuff here but no 630 splash which was kinda disappointing
After the match Nigel Mcguiness Comes out and beats up Generico. Steen makes the save and cuts a quick promo saying he will win the title tonight
2. Jigsaw defeats Mitch Franklin with a move that I don't know the name for. It looks like he is about to do an Alabama slam but just drops him down like a piledriver. this match was very good with alot of fast paced action
3. Chris Hero and Eddie Edwards defeat Pelle Primeu and Erik Stevens Before the match began Chris HEro beat up Bobby Dempsy to a Bloody mess and kicked him out of Sweet and Sour inc. Eddie edwards is the new member. This was another very good match Pelle was very Impresive
4. Brent Albright defeats Delirious This match was good. after the match Sweeny tells albright to break Deliriouses arm. Brent is hesitant but Daizee Haze comes out and gets between Brent and Delirrious. Sweeny tells Brent to break HER arm but he walks away.
5. Non-title No DQ match - The Necro Butcher defeats Roderick Strong
This match was a fun match but i couldn't really see the first 7 minutes because they went into the crowd. They fought into the Penalty box of the hockey area and back to the entrance way. Roderick came to my area and My brother and I handed him about 10 chairs from the crowd. He set them up kinda of like a Table made of Chairs and Russian legsweeped Necro of the apron through it. Roderick got a table and set it up. Erik Stevens came out and powerbombed Strong through the table helping Necro pick up the win.
Next their is an intermision
6. Claudio Castingoli defeats Kota Ibushi. I can sum up this match in one word WOW. This was a great match. Ibushi did a spot where he jumped on the gaurd rail and did a corkscrew 450 Splash. He did a moonsault but landed on his feet into another moonsault which was a great spot.
Larry Sweeny came out and said he was starting a diva training school and Sara Del Ray was gonna be the first trainee. He wanted Sunny to train her but she said she would sleep on it. Sweeny was great in this segment alot of funny stuff here.
7. ROH World Title
Nigel McGuiness defeats Kevin Steen. This Match was Match of the Night. They had so many great spots. Nigel was an awesome heel and Kevin Steen had the biggest pop of the night. Nigel wins with a roll up and grabbing onto the rope
8. ROH Tag Team Titles
The Briscoes defeat the No Remorse Corps
Great match Bricoes win with the Jay Driller. For some reason Rocky Romero didn't have his belt. He must have forgot it in the back. This match was great. Briscoes won and had a beer celebration Stone cold Style in the ring. I slapped five Jay Briscoe on his way out which was cool
This show was great. They Announced ROH would be returning to Edison on October 25 and I will be their also. I also got an autograph from Sunny. She was very nice. This was a 5 star show. It was my first ROH show and by the time the first match was
over i new i was coming back. I highly recomend this if it comes out on DVD
