Ring Of Honor House Show Results - 3/29/2008
Orlando, Florida
Go Shiyazaki b Delirious. Tons of comedy early with Delirious trying to avoid the chops. Delirious even told the refree to DQ Go if he chopped Turned out to be really good at the end. Go finished with a suplex into a sidewalk slam.
Young Rich and Ready for Action --- YRR (Kenny King/Sal Rinauro/Chasyn Rance) b Dingo/Luke Williams/Sugarfoot Payne. Dingo and Sal had a nice sequence to start.. Really strong finish as Dingo was left alone and was triple teamed. Sal pinned Dingo after a slingshot spinning emzugiri..
Taped for PPV May 30th: ROH Tag Champs Rocky Romero/Davey Richards b Jigsaw/Ruckus. Insane match. Crowd was into everything. Some rough spots early, but strong overall. Richards p Jigsaw after a spike double underhook brainbuster.
Larry Sweeney with Shane out again. Same schtick with trying to
recruit the NRC., Roderick Strong out and he tells Sweeney he formed the NRC and they were not joining. Erixk Stevens Ran out and he and Strong brawled.
No bell,. Strong gave the ref a forearm. They brawled some more. Both guys punched the ref. They proceeded to have a reallt stiff brawl Stevens ble early. Strong folloerd later. Stevens bit Strong after busting him open, They exchanged forearms before Strong ko'd Stevens with a chair. Romero/Richards out and NRC cut off part of Stevens mowhawk to end the affair. Strangely this did not feel like a jip or cop out. Two haircuts in one day! Dingo and Payne finally come out to help Stevens to the back.
The crowd chanted Sweep it up asshole to the poor kid who had to clean the ring. .
Age of the Fall (Tyler Black/Jimmy Jacobs) b The Briscoe Brothers. You might ask why they would do a match where there were no rules after the previous brawl, but by design this worked insanely well. They weren't in the ring long and they brawled all over the building. Jacobs was tossed through sections of chairs.. Mark took a dive off the walkway through a table. They finally made it back to the ring. AOF controlled. Mark made it back to the ring. Jacobs rolled the Doomsday into a Dragon Sleeper for the win,
Intermission
BxB Hulk/Shingo b El Generico/Kevin Steen in 20 minutes when Shingo pinned Generico with a fireman"s into a phoenix fury leg drop. BxB Hulk is awesome. Match was stellar. Steen/Generico are a stellar team and this weekend put them up some notches.
ROH Champion Nigel McGuinness b Austin Aires. with a clothesline in 25 minutes. Good, but not even second best tonight. Strong build, the, Aires did a dive to the floor and hit the barricade. They lost the crowd. They finally made it back in. Aires avoided some near falls and made one last comeback before being finished.
Age of the Fall out. Jacobs said it was Aries destiny to lose tonight. Jacobs says he could be Aries own personal Jesus. Lacey tries to get Aries to leave with her. Tammy out. She thinks that Aries must have a concussion if he would leave with Lacey and not her. Tammy offered money, fame, and sex and he turned her down. Aries leaves with Lacey anyway. Jacobs and Black hold Tammy to be slapped until the Briscoes made the save. Crowd chanted triple threat.
Muscle Outlaws (Genki Horoguchi/Doi/Masato Yoshino) b Typhoon (Dragon Kid/CIMA/Ryo Saito) in the main event in about 30 minutes. Insane match as usual. Top to bottom this show was the best thing this weekend. The right match ton end with. Chants of match of the year at the end. Doi p Kid with his wheelbarrow into sitout stuff piledriver..

El Generico/Kevin steen b Naruki Doi/Masato Yoshino - insane match. Longest and best so far. Tons of false finishes and the last 5-8 min are awesome
Shingo/BxB Hulk b Jimmy Jacobs/Tyler Black. Shingo p Black
Briscoes b Dragon Kid/Saito
Earlier after Aires won they had ;Jacobs cut a Raven promo from one of the lighting structures. Lacey then Sytch came out to court Aires. It ended with Lacey DDTing Tammy.
Young Rich and Ready for action (Rinauro/King/Chasyn Rance) cut a promo through the crowd before the show.)
Sweeney w/ Shane out to try to get the NRC to disband and join him. He was turned down and left telling them to get back to him.
CIMA/Erick/Go b No Remorse Corps (Romero/Strong/Richards)
- CIMA p Strong. Lots of chops and some wicked sounding ones at that.
Show was solid. Nothing bad at all.k Some rough splotches. Dragon's Gate guys were very respectful and hung around to meet fans after the show.
