October 5th: Don't forget to check out tonight's episode of "Ring of Honor Wrestling" on HDNet at 8 PM featuring the first ever Tag Team Honor Rumble. Included in the Rumble are The American Wolves, Jay & Mark Briscoe, The Dark City Fight Club, The Young Bucks, The Embassy, Kevin Steen & El Generico, Brent Albright & Erick Stevens, and Kenny King & Rhett Titus. Other bouts include Roderick Strong vs. Joey Ryan, Delirious vs. Sonjay Dutt, Eddie Kingston in action, plus more.

This edition features footage from Jim Cornette's return to ROH as well as a look at the epic final ROH bout between Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuinness. October 5th: The surgery scheduled for ROH World Tag Team Champion Eddie Edwards' broken arm has been pushed back until tomorrow. We will have an update on his condition as soon as one is available.
October 5th: With 'Survival of the Fittest 2009' coming this Saturday to Indianapolis, Exec. Prod. Jim Cornette touched on a forthcoming announcement regarding the sixth and final qualifying spot in the elimination finale. ROH officials and Mr. Cornette are now stating that events taking place this Friday night in suburban St. Louis will have a direct impact on determining that spot. "The entrants into the finale of Survival of the Fittest find themselves in line for a chance at the World Title," said Cornette. "And as of now, the holder of that title is Austin Aries. I think it would be in Mr. A ries' best interest to be careful of how he plays his game this weekend. I know he likes to play with fire, but he should be careful of what fires he starts because there is a new head firefighter in town."

October 5th: Colt "Boom Boom" Cabana appeared on The Wrestling Roundtable this week discussing his life, career, and a new documentary, "The Wrestling Road Diaries", which follows Cabana, Bryan Danielson, and others on the road showcasing the life of a professional wrestler and leads up to Ring of Honor's huge Glory By Honor VIII event in New York.
