Well, this match hasn't been done in a major wrestling promotion in over 10 years. I think by innovative, Maxx means that major companies rely on the same type of match for feuds. I agree, seeing a Texas Death Match in Ring of Honor in the year 2012 is pretty innovative.

Innovative? So an old match style that’s been done a million times under as many different names is innovative? In that case, I am now marketing nose papers, they’re exactly like facial tissues or kleenex, but it’s innovative because I gave it another name.
