Ryback Recalls Convo With Arn Anderson, JR Update, Adventureland Hosting The Shield, Rusev

- Ryback told an interesting story in his recent Royal Rumble promotional interview with DirecTV. He said Arn Anderson (who works backstage in WWE as a producer) pulled him aside and told him that he needed to realize that he rose really fast and every time that happens, “you’re going to hit eventually and you’re gonna go down.” Ryback said Anderson reassured him he would get back up and get back on top. He said he considered it a very serious and real conversation and thought at the time he wasn’t going anywhere because AA has been around long enough to know how things work.

Ryback should get a push imo.

    • Nostaljack

How many pushes does he need? He’s had a few and can’t get the job done. He needs to chill out in the mid-card for a while and then maybe later, once he proves he can handle it, then push him.

      • DIVA_OF_THE_NIGHT

It’s not his fault that his pushes didn’t work. WWE shouldn’t pushed him to quick.

        • Nostaljack

It is his fault that he could get his character over, whined when he didn’t get what he wanted, and that he was impossible to deal with in media interviews. It’s also his fault that he couldn’t work his way out of a paper bag. All of the above appear to be getting a little better and maybe, just maybe, he’ll be alright. I agree with you that WWE pushed him far too quickly. Vince saw that look, tried to shoot him to the moon, and paid for it. In my insignificant opinion, the mid-card is the best place for him right now. That’ll give his ring work a chance to improve and give him time to get over without as much pressure.

Who elses fault is it? WWE have given him plenty of opportunities, it’s his fault for not taking advantage of them.

You claim he should be pushed but then say WWE pushed him too soon… Right
