Wrestling News World reader Patrick Peralta sent this link that goes to some depressing photos of the Pontiac Silverdome. The venue hosted a crowd of 93,173 on March 29, 1987 for Wrestlemania III.

– One day after announcing their new domestic TV licensing agreement with NBCUniversal and watching their stock price fall in excess of 40%, WWE is holding an investor conference call. Vince McMahon and George Barrios will address the Company’s 2014 and 2015 Business Outlook in a conference call with investors on Monday at 11 AM EDT. I’ll be on the call on behalf of and will have complete coverage.

I live 1 mile from the Siverdome. The 90+ inches of snow we got this winter in addition to the deflation of the dome caused this. It is truly sad as this was a great place to watch a Lions game.

  • The Shockmaster

    It WASN’T 93,000!

    • Mysterion

Because you were there and counted each one individually? Or did the internet tell you so it must be true ?

      • Cubed56

Lol. Vince has been on record saying hes fudged attendance numbers numerous times to set “records” for venues, included on that list was the Silverdome. I dont think there was 93000 in there that day, but i also dont believe there was only 72000 in there like some reports suggest. I think 80-85k is a reasonable number.

      You are right!

Crazy. We just saw Hulk Hogan cut that awesome promo at the Silverdome at WM XXX

I see what you did there…
