Samoa Joe On Being The Backbone Of TNA, What They Do Right

Samoa Joe recently did an interview on Fox Sports 1340 while promoting TNA Wrestling’s April 5th live event in Westbury, New York.

The host tells Joe that what he likes about him so much is that he’s stayed with TNA and hasn’t gone anywhere. He called Joe the backbone of TNA. Joe said it’s being the backbone of TNA and the money that’s kept him there. He said he’s having a blast in TNA and they have the best wrestling locker room in the world.

Joe said what’s right about TNA is the work in the ring and they do it on their own. He said he’s excited to be a part of something new. You can listen to the interview in its entirety at this link.

If Samoa Joe is the backbone of TNA, then they’ve got a broken back and no one is doing anything about it. I love Joe, he’s a fantastic wrestler, but under Hogan and Bischoff, Joe might as well not be there. He’s barely focused on, forgotten for months at a time and he isn’t being given the run he deserves.
