Seth Rollins Health Update; CM Punk Sheds Light On WWE Departure

Seth Rollins Health Update

Seth Rollins, who was the subject of injury concerns, was physically involved at this week’s Smackdown taping. He is locked in to face Dean Ambrose at Sunday’s WWE Battleground pay-per-view. We have complete taping results available at this link.

CM Punk Sheds Light on WWE Departure

The hashtag #ThankYouPunk trended Twitter on Tuesday night after news broke that WWE had moved his profile to the Alumni section on dot com (Punk’s WWE Performer’s contract expired on Tuesday). Alex Barie covered Punk’s response, where he thanked fans with this Tweet:

Punk’s “Don’t ever take any shit from anybody” remark are his first comments in regards to his WWE departure since he walked out of the company the day after Royal Rumble 2014 at Raw in Cleveland, Ohio. They go right along with everything we’ve known and reported about his departure in that he was “over” the backstage politics and was generally unhappy with the usage of his character.

I responded on Twitter:

I agree don’t take BS from anyone. if your not happy working in a place then just move on and find another place to work………no matter what type job you have. no need to stay in a job your unhappy with.

    • Gary Robert

especially if you’re a millionaire and you can afford to walk away unlike most of us.

  • Danny_Boy

I agree, the WWE should of never had too take BS from Punk. Good riddance D-bag

    • Gary Robert

You’re agreeing with the opposite of what was said.

      • JR Texx (Jamie)

He’s agree with the part that says don’t take BS from anyone..

        • Gary Robert

Right, but he’s saying WWE should have never taken any bullshit…that’s not what CM Punk’s tweet was referring to. It was HIM taking WWE’s bullsh*t. Then he called him a d-bag, lol. How dare he not keep working for WWE and be miserable! Who does he think he is!? Lol, I wish I had the sack to walk out on my job that I hate.

What BS is Punk talking about? They gave him 434 days as champion. I know the plan after WM 29 was for Punk to turn face and win the 2014 Royal Rumble. After that he was suppose to be in the main event of WM 30. Did WWE promise him that? Perhaps. But plans ended up changing — that’s the way it is. Nothing is guaranteed … just ask Batista :)

He went from the longest WWE title reign since Bruno to “well, we might let you open the show against Kane at WrestleMania while Orton (who is on drug test from termination) carries the title to face Batista.” I would be pissed too.

Hogan, Backlund and Morales has significantly longer runs with the title than Punk which is why they would always say “longest reigning champion of the modern era” as nobody has ever come close to Hogan’s 4 year reign.

Still a spot on the Wrestlemania card, more than other superstars got.

Glad Seth is ok he did great job seeling and fooled a lot of people including me. If it were me I would hold off on Ambrose v Rollins and have first match on Summerslam and play up injuries to Ambrose and Rollins as reason not cleared for battleground

I’m wondering if the “Health and happiness above all.” comment is further info . Could be he was pretty banged up after Royal Rumble and didn’t want to go out and do a stupid spot like go through a table again or get beat up with some ‘steel’ steps. Maybe one day we will know, but I doubt it.
