Sgt. Slaughter In G.I. Joe: Retaliation?; A Word To The Wise Regarding Wrestlemania XXVIII Matches

- reported that Sgt. Slaughter is rumored to have a cameo in "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" starring Channing Tatum, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Bruce Willis. (Thanks to WNW reader Patrick Peralta for the link.)

I am re-posting this here to stop the influx of readers asking about Wrestlemania XXVIII matches. There are going to be a lot of rumors regarding Wrestlemania matches but the above are the only two things the company has announced. Some are reporting the card, including talent that isn't even signed and leaving out 50% of what has already been announced (by excluding Daniel Bryan).

People are leaving out 50% of the card cause Daniel Bryn isn't cashing in at Wrestlemania, I think that's pretty obvious. WWE never promote things that far along, ironically the only real exception to that is the other match advertised for Wrestlemania and that's just so The Rock doesn't back away.

so while it's rare or I should say a once in a life time thing. WWE has promoted at least one match a year in advance. which goes against "Never promoting that far in advance" lol ( just Jokeing ). but your right it is a rare thing for them to do.

I could do with a good laugh around now so, what other matches that have no chance of happening are the "newz" sites reporting?

    • wnwdotcom2

Taker/Hunter and Punk/Jericho…. Taker/Hunter because of his promo last night and Punk/Jericho was the trendy NEWZ post yesterday.

Is it WRESTLE-Mania now ??? amazing how much can change in the WWE in a matter of less than a year , isn't it ???

What would happen if Rocky or Cena get legit injuries that would legitimately put them out of WM? Maybe that's why Cena's isn't booked for TLC?

      Makes perfect sense

It would be great seeing Slaughter in the new G.I. Joe movie. Us older fans still remember him from the old cartoon.
