Gray Internet Technologies, a Limited Liability Company out of the state of West Virginia, purchased the rights to the WrestlingNewsWorld.com domain name in February 2003 but did not retain any of the site's original content. Brothers Richard and Ryan Gray revamped the web site with an all new site design and direction. While the site had achieved a substantial amount of success under Patton, the entire mission of WrestlingNewsWorld.com was changed to a new modern direction under the new ownership.
Under the new direction and ownership the popularity of WrestlingNewsWorld.com soared to new levels, quickly establishing itself as one of the most popular independently owned professional wrestling news web sites on the Internet.
