Get To Know Brooks Oglesby
Brooks Oglesby is a blogger, results writer, and assistant for Wrestling News World, as well as the fellow in the silly hat to the left. He’s 19 years old and currently lives in beautiful Ocala, Florida. He joined the website in January of 2011, doing NXT results, but has since branched out to posting news, running the Tough Enough blog, helping with live blogs, and all manner of behind-the-scenes work with the site.
Brooks has always been a fan of wrestling, and if he can ever get motivated enough to get into shape, he’d like to give it a shot one day. In the meantime, he’s enjoyed cheering for his favorite performers, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Shawn Michaels, Eddie Guerrero, and Randy Savage. He’s only been to two live events, WrestleMania XXIV and Raw on December 5, 2011, but he’d follow WWE around the country like the fanboy that he is if he could.
When he’s not working with the site, he spends most of his time sleeping or playing his beloved ukulele. He spends an unhealthy amount of time watching TV (usually Futurama), playing video games (usually Zelda), or listening to music (usually Andrew Jackson Jihad). He loves to read and write, and can’t recommend Kurt Vonnegut, his favorite author and human being, enough. But what he’s really, really interested in is you.
