Brooks Oglesby is a reporter, blogger, and results writer for Wrestling News World, as well as the guy holding the sign outside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in that picture over there. He’s 22 years old and currently lives in beautiful Tampa, Florida. He joined the website in January of 2011, when he was put in charge of covering NXT results, but has since branched out to posting news, running the Tough Enough blog, helping with live blogs, and all manner of behind-the-scenes work with the site.
Brooks has always been a huge fan of wrestling. He currently cheers loudest for Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, Sami Zayn, Emma, and Enzo Amore, and cheers anachronistically for Andy Kaufman, CM Punk, Randy Savage, Shawn Michaels, and Eddie Guerrero. He’s been to WrestleMania XXIV, WrestleMania XXX, and a few Raws and NXTs here and there. He’d follow WWE around the country like the fanboy that he is if he could.
When he’s not working with the site, he spends most of his time playing video games and doing improv comedy. He is a Communication major at the University of South Florida, and hopes to find at least one other person on campus who likes wrestling before he graduates in 2015. If this short biographical article has not sufficiently endeared you to this nice young man, he recommends you follow him on Twitter (@BrooksOglesby).
