Brooks Oglesby is a blogger, results writer, and assistant for Wrestling News World, as well as the guy who is not Mick Foley in the picture above. He’s 20 years old and currently lives in beautiful Tampa, Florida. He joined the website in January of 2011, doing NXT results, but has since branched out to posting news, running the Tough Enough blog, helping with live blogs, and all manner of behind-the-scenes work with the site.
Brooks has always been a fan of wrestling, and if he can ever get motivated enough, he’d like to give the business a shot one day. In the meantime, he’s enjoyed cheering for his favorite performers: Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, AJ Lee, Enzo Amore, Andy Kaufman, Randy Savage, Shawn Michaels, and Eddie Guerrero. He’s been to WrestleMania XXIV, a few Raws, and attends NXT on a semi-regular basis. He’d follow WWE around the country like the fanboy that he is if he could.
When he’s not working with the site, he spends most of his time sleeping or playing his beloved ukulele. He is a Communication major at the University of South Florida, and hopes to find at least one other person on campus who likes wrestling before he graduates in 2015. If this short biographical article has not sufficiently endeared you to this nice young man, he recommends you follow him on Twitter (@BrooksOglesby).
