Daniel Bryan is my pick for Superstar of the Year, AJ Lee for Diva of the Year and the Mark Henry/John Cena retirement angle for Doublecross of the Year.

  • The Breaker

Aw man, I was rooting for John Cena vs. CM Punk from RAW, but they didn’t include it!

    • JR Texx (Jamie)

I can’t imagine them butting a match that happened on RAW with a bunch of matches that happened at PPV’s

      • The Breaker

But the award is for the match, not the show it was on.

        • JR Texx (Jamie)

and how but would it be if a RAW match beat a PPV match?

          • The Breaker

The match was PPV quality, so it fits right in with the rest if you ask me.

    • opie

Agreed. I understand the point about it not being on PPV, but that was definitely the match of the year for me.

  • Justin Lal

Superstar of the Year: John Cena (won RR, Def. Rock, won WHC, came back from serious injury)

    • JR Texx (Jamie)

I would have gone with Daniel Bryan, but considering what you typed made me agree with you.

    • Mysterion

You missed off the bit about your huge crush on him.

  • SweetCyn

Undertaker’s going to win for the seventh time in eight years… the rest weren’t as great, match wise, or had the emotion that the fans give the Undertaker every time he’s on screen… once again proving he might be the greatest of all time.

    • JR Texx (Jamie)

I think Rock V Cena was better than their first match, but considering it was their 2nd time, it kind of made it less exciting. But I agree, Undertaker should take it.

  • David F.

What about CM Punk pouring Paul Bearer’s ashes on the Undertaker? That was an epic insult. CM Punk was one of the best heels in the company before he turned face this summer. He is certainly way more entertaining as heel than boring Randy Orton

It’s kind of disappointing to see only PPV matches for Match of the Year. There were some amazing matches on RAW this year that are better than some of these matches. Looking at the list though it is hard to decide. CM Punk vs. Undertaker was an amazing match but Rock vs. Cena was good too. I didn’t care much for HHH vs. Lesnar at Extreme Rules but The Shield vs. Rhode Brothers at Battleground was amazing but not only for the match but the story it told. For Insult of the year I wish it would be Zeb Colter just because everytime he is on the mic it is pure gold but I see it going to AJ Lees pipebomb to the Total Divas. This year has some tough choices but I am excited to see who wins everything this Monday.

Match of the year was hands down The best vs The Beast, no questions asked………. but were the hell is it

  • MrOldSchool

My match of the year is NONE of the above – Hands down it is between Brock vs Punk or Bryan vs Cena both at Summerslam My insults of the year is the promos exchange between Heyman AND Punk !!!!

    • Rus

Bro hands down you totally stole what I said and Im literally the comment right before yours

  • Smarky Smark

    Cena vs Rock wins. Predictable.

    AJ wins for insult.

IMO WWE is so predictable. It wasn’t in the Attitude Era.
