  • CJ Blaze

    What’s up everybody?

    • David Jr.

Hello CJ, I was going to make a joke about CJ Parker, but I went to Wikipedia, searched CJ Parker and got Pamela Anderson.

      • CJ Blaze

        What? Haha

        • David Jr.

Apparently CJ Parker was her name in Baywatch.

  • David Jr.

So which match tonight will happen on Raw?

    • CJ Blaze

      Not sure.

      • David Jr.

No one else showing up tonight?

        • CJ Blaze

At least not for 10 minutes… Hopefully some more do.

          • David Jr.

            who’s coming in 10 minutes?

          • CJ Blaze

I don’t know, but it will be show time so maybe we will see more.

  • CJ Blaze

Chris Jericho vs. Luke Harper tonight… predictions? I think it’s safe to say it will end with Jericho winning clean or by DQ.

    • David Jr.

I’d be surprised if either Rowan, Wyatt or Usos don’t get involved. If Teddy Long was still GM, I’d predict that it turn into a 6 man tag match.

      • CJ Blaze

That would be perfect, surprised they haven’t done that yet.

        • Seth

Six man tags are usually at bare minimum fun matches. I wouldn’t complain about that particular six man tag.

  • CJ Blaze

    Show time!

  • CJ Blaze

I ALWAYS love when they air the theme song

  • David Jr.

I know the E.O.T.S. doesn’t care for Dean Ambrose’s ring gear but I think it’s perfect for him.

  • CJ Blaze

I enjoyed Kane/Ambrose last time on SmackDown… should be a good main event.

    • Seth

You know how some people just tend to gel well? I think they’re similar but different enough to gel really well together.

  • David Jr.

I’m getting tired of seeing this Road to Paloma preview.

    • CJ Blaze

I know. Found out it’s a WWE Studios movie, blah.

      • David Jr.

I kind of figured that out when it aired on the WWE network.

  • David Jr.

Excited for Flo Rida? cause I sure am not.

    • CJ Blaze

      I could care less.

      • David Jr.

        couldn’t

  • CJ Blaze

This sounds like a decent tag match.

  • David Jr.

Who of these 4 have the best chance of winning on Sunday?

    • CJ Blaze

My prediction is Ziggler. I can see Sheamus or Miz honestly. Fandango doesn’t really have a chance.

      • David Jr.

If someone told me one of these 4 were winning, I’d pick Sheamus, but I’m picking Bo Dallas to win it. Probably wrong, but I’m still picking him.

      • Seth

My instincts are telling me they’re still going to put it on Cesaro despite putting him under repeatedly since I think that’s their MO about champions at times. If not Cesaro, Sheamus, Miz and Bo Dallas would probably round out my four.

        • CJ Blaze

Cesaro is my second pick. The whole Heyman thing kinda changed my mind and put Ziggler, but I’ll be happy with either.

  • Seth

Evening folks. Better late than never I reckon.

    • CJ Blaze

      Yay! Welcome

  • Seth

For some reason when I see Dolph…I see a heel turn needed and a potential good tag partner in NXT in Tyler Breeze just to let them be two very arrogant jerks. Just food for thought and the WWE could use more heel tag teams.

    • CJ Blaze

I feel like they need more top heels period. I feel like all we have is The Authority and The Wyatt Family.

      • Seth

I see a top heel in the miscast Sheamus. Think he’s better character wise in that role.

      • David Jr.

You could say the same about faces, you have John Cena and maybe Roman Reigns.

        • CJ Blaze

True. They have Ambrose and Jericho but I haven’t felt their “impact” yet.

          • David Jr.

Yeah Ambrose may one day and Jericho in the past, but right now I don’t see either as a threat to become WWE champion.

        • Seth

Truthfully in a year and a half or so…Rollins can fill the role as a number 3 babyface. He’ll excel more so in that role I think. Sometimes though you just don’t know who will or won’t break out.

          • CJ Blaze

Exactly. I always thought Rollins was better in the face role.

  • David Jr.

I’d pick Don Knotts if Miz vs. Don Knotts fought.

    • Seth

      I would too.

      • David Jr.

And he died 8 years ago.

        • Seth

          That was a sad day…

  • David Jr.

Since there was just a random tag match, what 2 guys on the roster could they put together and become a team like the New Age Outlaws?

    • CJ Blaze

      That’s an interesting question…

    • Seth

I think an idea is you can go with more of an athletic kind of guy who may not be much of a talker but can organize stuff in the ring…maybe someone like a Tyson Kidd(though I love what they’re doing with him in NXT) and then you pair him with a charismatic guy with a good look…oddly enough maybe someone like Titus would fit the bill here because he has personality for an entire room of people because his team with Heath I don’t think is the right mesh.

      • David Jr.

That’s kind of what the Outlaws were like, Road Dogg was the charismatic guy and Billy Gunn was the athletic one.

        • Seth

I honestly rate Tyson Kidd higher than I ever liked Billy Gunn but if those two have chemistry as(at least initially) a heel tag team…why not give them a run?

          • David Jr.

I agree Tyson Kidd is way more agile than Billy Gunn.

        • CJ Blaze

So maybe Mojo Rawley and Xavier Woods…. Lost in the Hype?

  • David Jr.

Not that I would rate it bad but I never rated the Network, so where do they get those stats?

  • Seth

The WWE Network would get 5% more of a satisfaction rate if Cole would stop shilling it so damn much.

  • Seth

I’m not a Nikki Bella fan…truthfully…but the fact that Eva Marie is the one wrestling here and not Nikki represents a ginormous kick in the groin…

  • David Jr.

So Eva Marie is heel now because Divas jus turn for no reason?

  • CJ Blaze

That was so gosh darn entertaining…

  • Seth

Stardust just saved me from the memory of seeing Eva’s flaming red hair trying to wrestle.

  • Splat

    Goldust is the normal one.

    • Seth

The word normal doesn’t exist anymore thanks to the Dusts.

  • Seth

I don’t care how many times I see it…Sting has a freak’n aura about him. This package just for a VIDEO GAME PROMOTION just proved what kind of aura he carries with him.

  • Seth

Jericho’s light up jacket sparkling away during the Wyatt’s entrance. That’s a unique visual all to itself.

  • David Jr.

So why are there no results tonight?

    • CJ Blaze

Adam most likely isn’t available tonight.

      • David Jr.

Not that I ever read the results, and I apologize to you, Gesus, Adam and everyone else who does them. I’m sure you all do a great job.

        • CJ Blaze

Haha not a problem, considering you watch most shows and help our open threads!

  • Splat

    Don’t cut away from Bray’s entrance ever…

  • Seth

Bray cuts the promo as to why he’s targeting Jericho…sighting him a liar. I don’t think that’s a riddle at all Michael Cole. It’s delivered different…but I understand that reasoning.

  • David Jr.

Bray Wyatt was 12 years old when Y2J debut in the WWE.

    • Seth

I was 9 when that happened. Jesus…just thinking of it like that…it is absolutely scary how many killer years Mr. Wyatt has tormenting his foes on screen and entertaining us all.

      • David Jr.

I just graduated from High School.

        • Seth

Well…Bray and I just made you feel old then. Heh.

        • CJ Blaze

          What year did Y2J debut?

          • David Jr.

1999. so you were what in your mom’s womb?

          • CJ Blaze

            Depends on the month haha

          • David Jr.

            August 9, 1999.

          • CJ Blaze

I was about 5 months old

          • David Jr.

Were you watching wrestling in your crib at that time? I think I was about 2 months old when I started watching.

          • CJ Blaze

I have no idea. I don’t remember watching wrestling until I was like 11.

  • Splat

Harper is my favorite big man in along time.

    • Seth

He’s got monster heel potential in terms of helping anchor the top of the card on his own.

  • Andrew

    hey guys sorry im late

    • CJ Blaze

Hey! No problem, glad to have another person here!

      • Andrew

good im glad to be here!

  • Seth

    YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH!

  • mike

The Wyatts would of been perfect for the the undertaker during his ministries heel character, it would be a perfect match having taker as their leader and them as the minions, just imagine taker and Kane with the Wyatts during the attitude era would have been epic and a definitely overpowering group

  • Seth

The attack on the babyface and the hot tag team saving the higher up babyface from a group of heels. Traditional wrestling formula you see often in the NWA. Never fails when you have this much talent.

  • Splat

    Bray’s eye still looks awful.

  • David Jr.

The following is on Rusev’s Wikpedia page. “Rusev proceeded to adopt Lana as his “social ambassador”, a pairing compared by WWE to Ivan and Ludmilla Drago from the 1985 film Rocky IV.”
I don’t know if that is true but I believe it is.

  • CJ Blaze

Kofi Kingston. One of the few guys who can get a good match out of Del Rio

    • Seth

I think Kofi is Mr. Reliable in that he can have at least a decent match out of almost anyone at this point.

  • David Jr.

Greatest IC champion of all time? I’m older so I’d go with the Macho Man.

    • CJ Blaze

Since I’ve been watching, 2010, I would say Cody Rhodes. But that’s just for the last 4 years.

    • Seth

      Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart.

      • David Jr.

favorite Bret Hart IC Championship match from Summer Slam? Mr. Perfect or British Bulldog?

        • Seth

I lean more toward his match with Perfect.

          • David Jr.

I agree, I think Bulldog’s match get more pub because it happened in England.

          • Seth

It was huge for its time especially for the English market over there. Just taste wise I loved the Perfect match and while I respect Bulldog…I never was a huge fan of his.

          • David Jr.

I think Bret Hart picked his match against Mr. Perfect as his best match, according to Autobiography.

          • Seth

I think another really good IC Title match was Hart vs Piper. I loved that story.

          • David Jr.

I’d put it in my top 3 for IC match at Wrestlemania. with III and X as the other 2.

    • ldb

Im tied. Macho or Ultimate Warrior. When Warrior had it the belt was almost as big as the world title. But Macho had way better matches.

      • David Jr.

Warrior is the only IC champion to main event a wrestlemania, so that’s a good one.

  • ldb

I predict Del Rio is the next IC Champ. Hold your applause.

    • Seth

*Watches crickets go by* Riveting sir.

      • ldb

sure it wasnt that TNA lousiville crowd.?

        • Seth

They don’t even have crickets watch their shows.

  • CJ Blaze

I’m still confused by the divas right now.

    • David Jr.

Are any of these divas heels?

      • CJ Blaze

        That’s my confusion!

      • Seth

I guess Summer and Layla are playing more heelish here and Paige is in the process of turning heel. Just I guess Summer and Layla are going to be more along the lines of heels going forward because it’s really really hard to cheer those two.

  • Malboja

    Sup people’s :)

  • Seth

That was a good ‘Dammit…I was doing well enough on my own.’ facial expression.

  • ldb

are they the female team of hell no? Enemies to friends.

  • ldb

harper and rowan will win the tag titles sunday

  • Malboja

One thing I have to say is that as much as everyone loves the attitude era I think the in ring work of today’s crop is just as good if not better

    • Seth

The Attitude Era was more storyline and drama driven I think. This generation’s group is more about the steak of the in ring rather than the sizzle of the storylines. It’s almost like a pendulum in a way I think in how it swings back and forth between the two sometimes.

      • Malboja

        Couldn’t agree more

      • David Jr.

You had the Hogan era, then the HBK/Bret Hart era, then the Atttitude Era, then the Angle era, than Cena era than to now, so I can see your point.

        • Seth

It’s always at its best when it’s perfectly in the middle I think in terms of catering to both sides just enough. I lean more wrestling heavy than storyline heavy but you need good quality in both no matter what you do.

    • ldb

I respectfully disagree. Today to me can’t touch techs like bret hart, owen hart, Mr. perfect, or the wcw guys at the same time. regal, malenko, Guerrero, flair, benoit either side, most of the crusierweights were exciting. plus they had way better booking to go with them. Just the rant of an old timer.

      • Malboja

Gotta say I miss the cruiser weights :(
Tho I was thinking more as a whole rather than picking out individuals

  • Malboja

I would love for jake the snake roberts to be a part of the wyatt family and sister Abigail be the new Burmese python

  • ldb

Id like to see DDp give orton the diamond cutter one good time.

  • Andrew

i really am not buying seth rollins as a heel he no question is better of as a face

  • ldb

Must be time for ambrose to take his weekly beating

  • Malboja

    Out comes the wild one

  • Malboja

    Random…..

I think my snake is grimy with me after I put him in the bath :/

    • Malboja

      *grumpy

  • Malboja

Really hope wwe don’t screw up Kenta

  • David Jr.

Later, I might see some of you on Sunday..
