WWE Smackdown Results – (11/16/12)

Welcome to this week’s Smackdown! The show begins with a preview of Survivor Series. The cards is gone through, saying CM Punk’s time as champion may be up, if Miz being on Team Foley was a mistake, and if Big Show will continue his quest as the most dominant World Heavyweight Champion.

Sheamus is shown in the parking lot, pacing around.

The Miz is welcomed to the ring. Miz says it’s good to be home, and welcomes us to Miz TV. In two days, Miz says he will be on Team Foley because of the WWE Universe. Miz says last Monday he was chosen, but was there any doubts? Miz says he is on the poster. Miz says he is a survivor, and has accomplished more than any of him competitors. Miz says he won’t let any leader get in his way, Ziggler or his guest; Mick Foley.

Mick Foley makes his way to the ring. Foley says he appreciates being on the show, but had some reservations on allowing Miz to be on his team. Mick says it may have been that he is the biggest bully in children’s book history. Mick plugs his book, and makes a cheap pop. Mick says he wonders what Miz will appear for his team; the Wrestlemania Main Eventing and John Cena defeating Miz or makeup wearing weak beard growing Miz. Miz asks really? Miz says Mick should worry about the rest of the team. Mick says he had the opportunity to have a team meeting now, and first welcomes Kofi Kingston to the ring.

Kofi Kingston makes his way to the ring. Team Hell No makes their way to the ring. Randy Orton makes his way to the ring.

Mick says anyone who wants to begin talking may. Daniel and Kane argue about who should start, but Daniel says Kane apologizes for the insinuation for Bryan being a weak link. Kane says he thanks Miz for being a great partner, saying his back feels better without carrying someone. Daniel says without him, Kane would be in basements scarring children. Kane says he would do that regardless. They begin arguing, as Kofi says they are all a team. Miz says it was Kofi who kicked him in the face after offering a handshake. Kofi says if Miz doesn’t step back, he will do it again. Mick says Orton might be the voice of reason. Randy says although he was thrown through thumbtacks from Foley, he likes him better than any of his team members. Orton states he doesn’t trust them either. Team Ziggler interrupts.

Dolph says in the ring is the definition of dysfunction. Dolph says that’s sad, even for Mick. Dolph says they have no egos, because they are all elite behind one charismatic leader. Dolph asks Del Rio what the problem is, as he talks with Ricardo. Del Rio says he doesn’t think Ziggler can be leader. Dolph says he could have brought it up backstage. Del Rio says he is a former WWE Champion, but Dolph says he is a future champion. Mick tries to talk of their team, but Ziggler tells him to shut up. Mick says when he was in charge, he made some good matches. Mick says Dolph and Del Rio will face The Miz and Randy Orton. Ziggler says that’s fine, and is glad Miz quit. Ziggler says they have someone who is better than Miz; Wade Barrett. Wade thanks Dolph, saying they replaced Miz with a winner. Foley says Wade will face Kane later tonight. Daniel begins yelling no, ask Damien requests silence. Damien says that Team Foley is in disarray. Sandow says Daniel is a one word wonder, Kane is the reason why Cody isn’t with them, and says Kofi now claims to fly. Kofi says he will show Damien his abilities first hand. Foley says Kofi Kingston will face Damien Sandow, next.

Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Damien Sandow

Kofi and Damien lock up, as Damien does a Headlock Takedown. Kofi stands out, throwing Sandow against the ropes. Kingston is taken down with a shoulder, but retaliates with a Back Elbow. Damien rolls out of the ring, to the floor. Damien gets back in the ring, and goes to kick Kingston. Kofi grabs his leg, and follows with an Arm Drag. Kofi drops his knee against Damien’s arm. Pin, but a kick out. Kofi is headbutt, and whipped. Damien goes for an Arm Drag, but is reversed into a Monkey Flip by Kingston. Damien goes to the floor, as Kofi follows. Damien gets back in the ring, stomping on Kofi. Kofi is whipped into the corner, who does a Float Over. Kingston does a Dropkick to Sandow, and pins. Kick out. Kofi does a Mule Kick to Damien’s face, followed by a kick to the chest. Pin, but a kick out. Damien is thrown to the floor, as Kingston does a Suicide Dive.

-Commercials

Kofi is kicking Sandow in the corner. Kofi is hit in the gut, then the face. Kofi reverses as he whips Sandow. Sandow reverses, as he hits a Rolling Neckbreaker. Pin, but a kick out. Damien connects with a Russian Leg Sweeps, followed by an Elbow of Distain. Pin, but a kick out. Damien is hit with punches from Kofi, but is whipped. Kofi reverses into a whip, but Sandow kicks Kofi. Kingston does back handed chops and a Dropkick. Kofi connects with a Boom Drop. Kingston calls with a Trouble in Paradise, but Sandow runs to the corner. Sandow elbows Kofi in the face, and goes for a Clothesline. Kingston does a Diving Crossbody and pins. Kick out. Damien runs the ropes, but is hit with a Back Bodydrop. Damien rolls up Kingston for the win.

Winner: Damien Sandow via pinfall

Sheamus is shown backstage, awaiting the arrival of Big Show.

A highlight is shown from Raw, where Vickie Guerrero shows AJ’s phone messages to John Cena. AJ says those those messages were fabricated. Dolph asks AJ which was more disappointing, the fact that Cena won’t talk to her anymore, or Cena in her hotel room. Cena comes to the ring, punching Ziggler.

Diva’s Champion Eve, Aksana and Alicia Fox vs. Kaitlyn, Natalya and Layla

Nat and Aksana lock up, as Aksana backs Nat into the ropes. Nat is kneed in the gut, as Nat rolls up Aksana. Layla is tagged in as she slaps Aksana’s butt. Nat and Layla both do a Double Clothesline, followed by Layla hitting her butt into Aksana’s face. Pi, but a kick out. Alicia is tagged, as she does a Northern Lights Suplex. Pin, but a kick out. Eve is tagged, as she does a Senton. Eve chokes Layla on the ropes with her knee. Pin, but a kick out. Eve does a Snapmare, followed by a kick. Pin, but a kick out. Fox is tagged, as she kicks Layla in the gut. Fox hits an elbow, but Layla crawls to her corner. Fox drags her away, but Layla tags Kaitlyn. Fox is hit with a Spinning Back Elbow. Kaitlin does a Flap Jack to Fox. Alicia is whipped, as Kaitlyn does a Shoulder Block. Aksana breaks a pin, as Kaitlyn Dropkicks Fox into Even, on the corner. Kaitlyn does a Reverse DDT for the win.

Winners: Kaitlyn, Natalya and Layla via pinfall

Sheamus is talked to by Booker T, who says he is put in an awkward position. Sheamus says when Booker sees Show, he should tell him to meet him in the ring. Booker tells Sheamus to wait 48 hours. Sheamus says he can’t promise anything. Booker says he is serious, and there will be repercussions.

Randy Orton makes his way to the ring. The Miz makes his way to the ring. Dolph Ziggler makes his way to the ring. Alberto Del Rio makes his way to the ring. A highlight is shown from last week’s Smackdown, when Randy defeat Del Rio in a Fall Count Anywhere Match.

Randy Orton and The Miz vs. Mr. Money in the Bank Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio

Miz and Dolph lock up, as Dolph twists the arm of Miz. Dolph gets a Side Headlock, but is whipped. Miz is taken down with a shoulder. Ziggler runs the ropes, but is hit with a Flapjack. Pin, but a kick out. Ziggler and Miz trade punches, ans Miz is sent to the floor. Del Rio pushes Orton off the apron, as Dolph and Alberto stand in the ring.

-Commercials

Ziggler has a Headlock on Orton, as he elbows out. Orton runs the ropes, but is kneed in the gut. Ziggler hits an Elbow Drop and pins. Kick out. Del Rio is tagged, as he kicks Orton. Del Rio stomps on Orton in the corner. Orton gets out of the corner, punching Alberto in the opposite one. Del Rio does an Arm Breaker, and pins. Kick out. Ziggler is tagged, as he kicks Orton on the floor. Dolph does a cocky pin, but a kick out. Randy whips Dolph, as Orton is kicked. Randy does a Pop Up, and let’s Dolph fall to the mat. Miz is tagged, as he unloads on Dolph in the corner. Miz connects with a Lariat, followed by an Axe Handle. Pin, but a kick out. Miz sends Dolph into the corner, but is whipped. Miz kicks Ziggler in the face, and goes top rope. Del Rio pushes Miz off the turnbuckle, as he is sent to the floor. Dolph follows, as he drops Miz on the barricade. Miz is rolled back in the ring, and pinned. Kick out. Del Rio is tagged, as he kicks Miz in the leg. Del Rio kicks Miz in the ribs in the corner. Dolph kicks Miz from the apron, as Del Rio does an Enziguri. Pin, but a kick out. Del Rio locks in an Armbar, but Miz punches out, Del Rio headbutts Miz tot he corner. Del Rio runs to Miz, as Miz sends Del Rio to the floor. Miz crawls to Orton, as he is tagged. Randy does multiple Clotheslines, followed by a Scoop Slam. Dolph gets in the ring, and is greeted with a Scoop Slam. Del Rio is hit with a Rope Elevated DDT. Miz tags himself in, and connects with a Skull Crushing Finale for the win.

Winners: Miz and Randy Orton via pinfall

Randy does an RKO to Miz following the match.

Sheamus makes his way to the ring. Sheamus says Big Show crossed the line. Sheamus says he liked his match with Big Show, but attacked William Regal showing what a coward he was. Sheamus says he is tired of talking. Sheamus says he doesn’t feel like waiting until Sunday, and says it is time to fight. Big Show interrupts.

Show says that Sheamus doesn’t get it. Show says all Sheamus does is call him out. Big Show says he might get William Regal knocked out again. Show says he is afraid of Sheamus, but what Show will to do him. Show says Sheamus should do the right thing, and thank him. Sheamus says he will personally thank him right now. Sheamus runs too Big Show, but Booker T stops him.

Booker says for tonight, he wants Sheamus to leave the building. Sheamus says he can’t do that, as he goes for Show again. Booker stops him again, saying he is telling Sheamus to leave his building.

-Commercials

Big Show is walking backstage, saying he loves how Booker handled the situation. Big Show says he goes way back with Booker T. Booker says Show will be in the Main Event, but the opponent doesn’t matter. Booker says no one is bigger than the show.

Kane makes his way to the ring. Wade Barrett makes his way to the ring.

1/2 WWE Tag Team Champions Kane vs. Wade Barrett

Kane is kicked in the gut, but Kane runs the ropes. Wade connects with Winds of Change and pins. Kick out. Kane is whipped, but reverses it. Kane does a Big Boot, and does a Clothesline to Wade, sending him to the floor. Wade is rolled back in, as Kane does a Clothesline off the top rope. Team Ziggler makes their way to the ring, attacking Kane.

Winner: Kane via disqualification

Daniel Bryan tries to make the save, but is out numbered. Mick Foley deploys Kofi Kingston to attempt to even the score. Orton runs the the ring, to make the save. Orton hits an RKO to Sandow, followed by one to Ziggler. Team Foley stand tall in the ring. Miz walks down the ramp, staring at Orton.

-Commercials

A video package is shown of CM Punk talking of respect. Highlights of him facing Ryback in Hell in a Cell are shown. Punk gets a victory after a low blow and a fast count by rouge referee Brad Maddox. Brad says Punk had no idea what was going to happen, and was just as surprised as Ryback. Vince McMahon makes the Survivor Series Main Event official, a Triple Threat between CM Punk, John Cena and Ryback for the WWE Championship.

R-Truth makes his way for commentary. Antonio Cesaro makes his way to the ring. Sin Cara makes his way to the ring.

United States Champion Antonio Cesaro vs. Sin Cara

Cesaro and Sin lock up, as Antonio takes Cara down. Cesaro stomps on Sin’s back, but does an Arm Drag to Antonio. Sin does a Headscissors Takedown, but is hit with a Til-a-Whirl Backbreaker. Pin, but a kick out. Antonio connects with a Gutwrench Suplex. Cesaro hits a European Uppercut to the back of Sin’s head. Cara does an Argentine Arm Drag. Sin does an Enziguri from the apron, following with a Springboard Hurricanrana. Pin, but a kick out. Sin runs the ropes, as Antonio connects with a Swiss Death Uppercut. Cesaro follows with a Neutralizer for the win.

Winner: United States Champion Antonio Cesaro via pinfall

R-Truth stands on the announce table, and says he would like to borrow from another “Jimmy,” Hacksaw Jim Duggan. R-Truth starts a U-S-A chant, as Cesaro leaves the ring.

The Big Show makes his way to the ring. The Great Khali makes his way to the ring.

World Heavyweight Champion Big Show vs. The Great Khali

Show and Khali lock up, as Show is sent to the corner. Khali is kicked in the gut, and punches in the corner. Show goes for a chop, but is chopped himself. Show is chopped again in another corner. Khali does an Elbow to Show’s face, followed by a club to the back. Show is taken to his knees, as Khali does a Headbutt. Khali chokes Show’s neck against the ropes, as he and Show trade blows. Show is whipped, but connects with a Spear. Pin, but a kick out. Show goes for a Chokeslam, but is chopped on the head. Pin, but a kick out. Khali goes for the Punjabi Plunge, but Show connects with a KO Punch.

Winner: World Heavyweight Champion Big Show via pinfall

Sheamus’ music plays, but no one comes out. Show makes his way to the back. In the parking lot, Matt Striker goes for an interview. Matt runs away after show looks at him. Show goes into his tour bus, but Sheamus jumps out and attacks Sheamus. Show is smashed back first against a car window, but Sheamus is thrown onto the windshield. Sheamus jumps of the hood of the car onto Show, putting his head into the windshield of another car. Referees take Sheamus away as Show lay in the lot.
