Welcome to this week’s Smackdown! The show begins with a preview of what’s to come tonight. The Shield and their recent attacks along with The Big Show and Sheamus’ no contact clause are highlighted in the trailer.

United States Champion Antonio Cesaro and Sheamus join JBL and Josh Matthews at the announce table, scouting their respective opponents during their upcoming match.

Big Show makes his way to the ring. R-Truth makes his way to the ring.

World Heavyweight Champion Big Show vs. R-Truth

Show kicks Truth, following with a club to the back. Truth is thrown into the corner, and chopped in the chest. Show headbutts Truth, as he goes down to the mat. The attacks continue, as Truth is chopped in the opposite corner. Show steps on Truth’s stomach, walking over him. Truth attempts to fight back, but is laid out on the top rope. Truth’s ribs are punched in, as he falls back to the mat. Show chops Truth against the ropes, following by standing on his chest. Show rolls to the floor, chopping Truth as he lays on the apron. Show provokes Sheamus, but is kicked by Truth. Truth goes off the apron, but is greeted with a chop to the chest. Show precedes to throw Truth into the ropes, as he falls to the floor. Cesaro goes to attack Truth, but Sheamus pushes him back in his chair. Show picks up Truth from the floor by his head, following by throwing him in the ring. Show runs to a cornered Truth, but is kicked. Truth jumps on Show’s back, locking in a Sleeper Hold. Show throws Truth off his back, running the ropes. Show attempts an Elbow Drop, but Truth moves. Truth connects with an Scissor Kick and pins. Kick out by Show. Show throws Truth across the ring. As Truth goes for Show, he is knocked out with a KO Punch.

Winner: World Heavyweight Champion Big Show via pinfall

Show goes up to Sheamus, and begins provoking him. Cesaro pushes Sheamus into Show, accidentally hitting him. Show begins saying that he was hit, saying the match is now off. Sheamus looks worried, as Show leaves for the back laughing.

Big Show is backstage, talking with Booker T. Show says he knew Sheamus would attack him, saying he violated their contract. Booker says if Show is scared, he should just say it. Show denies it, saying Sheamus still violated their agreement. Booker says the match is still on.

Damien Sandow is in the ring, saying he has scoured the WWE Universe for becoming his apprentice. Sandow says his quest has been like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Sandow says he will instead reintroduce his partner and best-friend; the marvelous, magnificent and mustachioed Cody Rhodes. Cody makes his way to the ring, speaking of him feeling honor. Cody says it is an honor to be back in the ring with Sandow, his equal and partner. Rhodes says those who try to drive a wedge between them, like the gas bag buffoon The Miz are — but gets interrupted by The Usos’ entrance.

Rhodes Scholars (Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow) vs. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey)

Cody is greeted with a Lariat from Jimmy. Jey is tagged, as The Usos do a double headbutt. Jey chops Cody, as throws him to the corner. Jimmy is tagged, as he hits Rhodes. Rhodes is thrown to the corner, as Jimmy runs to him. Jimmy is sent to the apron, going to attack Damien. Rhodes pushes him off to the floor, as Sandow kicks him. Rhodes pins, but a kick out. Sandow is tagged, as he connects with a Side Russian Legsweep. Sandow connects with an Elbow of Distain and pins. Kick out by Jimmy. Cody connects with a Front Suplex, and attacks Jey. Cody stomps Jimmy in the corner, following with a Snapmare. Cody locks in a Full Nelson. Jimmy elbows out, following with a kick to the gut. Jey is tagged, as he makes a comeback. Sandow is tagged, as he is taken out as well. Jey connects with a Samoan Drop. Jey connects with a Running Stinkface, as he tags Jimmy. Jimmy goes on the top rope, but gets off as Sandow moved. Rhodes got in the ring, but was taken out by Jey. Sandow rolls up Jimmy for the win.

Winners: Rhodes Scholars via pinfall

David Otunga is backstage, speaking with Big Show about their contract. Show says Booker doesn’t know what he is talking about, asking for Otunga’s help. David says they should do this publicly in the ring.

Big Show and David Otunga are in the ring. Show says everyone saw that Sheamus put his hands on him, saying this is his fault. Show says he explained to Booker that Sheamus violated their contract, saying their match if off. Otunga says Booker forced Show and Sheamus into a legally binding contract, and now Booker refuses to follow his own rules. Otunga says this will be brought before the WWE Board of Directors. Otunga says the will demand Show’s match be called off, and that Booker T is removed from his General Manager position. Booker T interrupts.

Booker says that contracts are about the spirit of the intent, not the law. Booker says if Otunga wants to take this to the board, he can. Booker says his decision remains true. Otunga says just because Booker has been to prison doesn’t mean he is a legal expert, saying he will see to the Board of Directors firing Sheamus as well. Sheamus interrupts.

Sheamus runs to the ring with a chair. Sheamus says if their match is called off, nothing is stopping him from kicking Show’s arse. Show says the contract is still valid in his opinion, as he cowers out of the ring. Sheamus follows by hitting Otunga with a Brouge Kick.

A highlight from Raw is shown, with Randy Orton defeating Brad Maddox. After the match, The Shield attacked Orton and followed with a Powerbomb.

Backstage, Matt Striker is awaiting an interview with Randy Orton.

The Shield is backstage attacking Randy Orton, after putting him through a table.

Aksana and Kaitlyn are in the ring for their match.

Kaitlyn vs. Aksana

Kaitlyn and Aksana lock up, as Aksana is backed into the ropes. Aksana does a Headlock Takeover, but is pinned. Aksana rolls back into a Headlock. Kaitlyn stands up, but is taken down again. Aksana locks in a Chin Lock and pins. Kick out. Aksana locks in a Headlock, but Kaitlyn punches out. Kaitlyn tries to get out, but is still in the submission. Aksana throws Kaitlyn to the mat and pins. Kick out. Aksana locks in another Headlock. Kaitlyn hits a Sidewalk Slam, but is now in a Chinlock. Kaitlyn picks up Aksana, but she gets out. Kaitlyn hits a Clothesline, followed by a Flapjack. Kaitlyn picks up Aksana, and connects with a Gutbuster for the win.

Winner: Kaitlyn via pinfall

Matt Striker is backstage, saying Randy Orton had his shoulder torn out of its socket, and may have also suffered a concussion.

The Miz is in the ring, welcoming us to Miz TV. Miz says he isn’t one to shy away from controversy, and speaks of The Shield wrecking havoc. Miz says in a Six Man Tag TLC Match, three men look to stop them. Two of those three are his guests, Team Hell No. Daniel Bryan and Kane make their way to the ring.

Miz says he has known Daniel since he has started in WWE, so will ask him how he feels. Daniel asks if Miz is Oprah. Daniel says the time for talk is over, and will make The Shield beg in the ring. As they plea, Daniel says he will say no. Kane says The Shield made the biggest mistake for attacking them, saying he and Daniel are now on the same page. Kane says they will use tables, ladders and chairs and will love every second. The Shield interrupt on the Titantron.

Dean Ambrose says they are making empty threats and should ask Randy Orton how it feels to do so. Rollins says Daniel is hiding behind Kane. Reigns says Kane is cowering because of The Shield.,Kane asks why wait until Sunday, as The Shield says that is something they can agree on. Hell No look around, as The Shield appears in the crowd. The Shield all walk from the crowd to the ring. Before they can get there, Ryback comes to the ring. The Shield retreats, changing their mind on the attack.

The Great Khali makes his way to the ring, with Natalya and Hornswoggle.

International Airstrike (Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel), The Great Khali and Hornswoggle w/ Natalya vs. The Primetime Players (Darren Young and Titus O’Neil), Primo and Epico w/ Rosa Mendes

Titus begins kicking Khali, but is chopped in the head. Titus is put in the corner, and is chipped in the chest. Darren gets in the ring, but is chopped as well. Hornswoggle is tagged, as he chops Titus. Hornswoggle runs the rope, but is hit with a Lariat by Titus. Young is tagged, as he whips Hornswoggle. Young is headbutt, as Kidd is tagged. Kidd enters with a Springboard Dropkick. Kidd runs the ropes, but is hit with a Belly-to-belly Suplex. Primo is tagged as he does a Suplex. Epico is tagged, as he locks in a Headlock. Epico chokes Kidd against the ropes, as Rosa slaps Kidd. Natalya takes out Rosa. Primo is tagged, as he connects with a Dropkick to Kidd. Tyson is whipped, as he attempts with a Sunset Flip. Instead, Kidd does an unorthodox reversal into a  roll-up pin for the win.

Winners: International Airstrike, The Great Khali and Hornswoggle via pinfall

Hornswoggle is caught by Titus after going off of the apron, but is saved by Kidd and Gabriel. They celebrate in the ring, as Kidd and Gabriel land backflips off the top rope.

Kofi Kingston makes his way to the ring. Alberto Del Rio makes his way to the ring.

Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Alberto Del Rio

Kofi is kicked, and put in a Headlock. Kofi locks in a Hammerlock, and brings Del Rio in the corner. Kofi catches Del Rio’s kick, but is backed into the corner. Alberto backs up, as Kofi locks in a Waistlock. Del Rio locks in a Side Headlock, but is thrown against the ropes. Alberto takes out Kofi with a shoulder, as he runs the ropes. Del Rio goes for a Clothesline, but is hit with a Dropkick. Pin, but a kick out. Kofi locks in a Hammerlock, bring Del Rio down to the mat. Del Rio gets out, stomping on Kofi’s back. Alberto kicks Kofi, following by choking him in the ropes. Alberto jumps to the corner, as Kingston moves. Kofi begins punching Del Rio in the corner, following with an European Uppercut. Pin, but a kick out. Del Rio backs Kofi into the corner, followed by a knee to the gut. Alberto throws Kingston to the corner, but Kofi climbs up the ropes. Kofi hits an Axe Handle. Del Rio is sent to the floor, as Kofi connects with a Plancha. Kofi brings Del Rio to the apron, but is thrown back first into the ring post.

Alberto connects with a Suplex and pins. Kick out. Del Rio locks in a Rear Chin Lock. Kofi stands out, kneeing Del Rio. Kofi runs the ropes, connecting with a Sunset Flip. Kick out. Del Rio does a Tilt-a-whirl Backbreaker and pins. Kick out. Alberto mocks Kingston, diving towards a corner Kofi. Kingston moves out of the way, follow with some fists. Kingston has his whip reversed, as he is sent to the corner. Del Rio connects with an Enziguri to the face of Kingston. Pin, but a kick out. Del Rio connects with a Michinoku Driver and pins. Kick out. Del Rio locks in a Chin Lock, but is elbowed in the face. Del Rio goes for another Backbreaker, but Kingston connects with a Double Chop. Del Rio picks up Kingston, connecting with a Back Suplex. Pin, but a kick out. Del Rio goes for a Suplex, but Kingston gets out. Kofi rolls up Del Rio for the win.

Winner: Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston via pinfall

Wade Barrett tries to attack Kofi from behind, but Kofi moves. Kingston connects with a Trouble in Paradise to Barrett.

Raw Rebound

A video package is shown, highlighting the events of the AJ and John Cena scandal. The video features all of Vickie’s “evidence” and John and AJ kissing. Dolph Ziggler interrupts with an attack on Cena. Dolph is shown calling AJ trash, and later putting Cena through a bathroom stall. A match for TLC is made, where Cena will face Dolph in a Ladder Match for Ziggler’s Money in the Bank Briefcase.

William Regal is backstage speaking to Sheamus about their match. William says for Sheamus to just wait two more days. Sheamus says he will wait, and will become World Heavyweight Champion.

Sheamus makes his way to the ring. Antonio Cesaro makes his way to the ring.

United States Champion Antonio Cesaro vs. Sheamus

Antonio and Sheamus lock up, as Antonio is backed in the corner. They lock up again, as Cesaro locks in a Side Headlock. Cesaro is thrown against the ropes as he takes down Sheamus with a shoulder. Sheamus is whipped against the ropes, as he takes out Cesaro with a shoulder. Sheamus shoulders Cesaro in the corner, following with a Running Knee Lift. Pin, but a kick out. Sheamus grabs the arm of Cesaro, as Antonio back him in the corner. Cesaro does a Float Over, but is grabbed by Sheamus. Cesaro is hit with a Rolling Senton and pinned. Kick out. Sheamus throws Cesaro in the corner , and whips him.  Cesaro reverses, but is kicked. Sheamus is sent to the floor, and as he tries to get back in the ring is kneed in the head. Cesaro does a Double Stomp to Sheamus’ chest, as he locks in a Arm Trap Choke. Cesaro takes Sheamus down, not allowing escape. Sheamus knees out, whipping Cesaro in the corner. Cesaro does a European Uppercut to the back of Sheamus’ head. Cesaro deadlifts Sheamus, doing a Gutwrench Suplex. Pin, but a kick out. Cesaro chokes Sheamus against the ropes, but is hit in the gut. Sheamus is hit with another European Uppercut, but is taken down whit a Running Axe Handle. Sheamus is sent to the apron as he runs towards Cesaro, going top rope. Sheamus connects with a Battering Ram. Cesaro is put on the apron, and has his chest clubbed. Sheamus connects with a Suplex. Big Show is on the ramp, attacking William Regal with a chair. Sheamus is counted out.

Winner: United States Champion Antonio Cesaro via count out
