WWE is taping this week’s WWE Smackdown tonight from the Landon Arena in Topeka, Kansas. Below are ongoing results:

WWE Smackdown (Airing on SyFy):

* CM Punk opens the show with a promo. He discusses what happened on Raw with Curtis Axel, then turns his attention to Brock Lesnar and his upcoming Money in the Bank Ladder match. He is soon interrupted by Alberto Del Rio, who tells Punk to get off "his" show. This brings out Teddy Long, who makes Punk vs. Del Rio official for later tonight.

* Backstage, Paul Heyman tells CM Punk that he doubts he can handle Del Rio on his own tonight. Heyman tells Punk he wants to be in his corner at Money in the Bank, but Punk refuses.

* The Usos b. Team Rhodes Scholars. Prior to the match, Damien Sandow cut a short promo. After the match, The Shield appeared on the Tron and cut a promo on their match with The Usos at Money in the Bank.

* Alicia Fox b. Kaitlyn when AJ Lee provided a distraction, skipping around the ring.

* Backstage, Kaitlyn tracks down AJ Lee. AJ runs away. The Bella Twins appear and make fun of Kaitlyn.

* Randy Orton b. Christian

* Dolph Ziggler b. Drew McIntyre. After the match, 3MB attempts to attack Ziggler, but Ziggler eludes them.

* Fandango b. Justin Gabriel

* Zeb Colter, Antonio Cesaro & Jack Swagger cut a promo together.

* CM Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio ended in a double countout. Paul Heyman was on commentary for the match. Heyman was attacked by Del Rio during the match, causing Punk to get involved. Punk brawled with Del Rio over the barricade, eventually resulting in a double countout. Punk brought Del Rio back to the ring and hit a GTS to end the show.

    Punk’s suppose to be on SD today right?

    Sorry for the delay, everyone. Busy night. The results are underway and it’s a big show already! Teddy Long, in a surprise twist, booking a SINGLES match!

    • Anand Vijayakumar

      But the usual first segment – two guys(groups) arguing and teddy makes the most unexpected decision – a match between the two 🙁

      • Smart Mark

        But the real question is… is this the first Smackdown that hasn’t involved MizTV 😛

        • Anand Vijayakumar

          Am not too sold on Miz TV. No matter how much they hype it up it is not as exciting as pipers pit or any of the predecessor shows 🙁

          • Smart Mark

            Agreed, they should just stick with the Highlight Reel for now.

    Cm punk on smackdown, looks like I’ll be tuning in.

    • Smart Mark

      It’s just too bad it has to be a rematch from Raw 2 weeks ago.

  • Looks like Team Rhodes scholars are about to die. about 4 months too late though. Hopefully Damien gets a push and runs with it!

    • Andrew ace

      No hopefully Cody gets the push. He’s been held back way too long.

    Orton beat Christian? I’m not suprised -_-
